Good video, well done! It also made me thinking: why can't you just put the hay net on the ground, like the hay pillow, then the horse can eat from it in the natural position?

Thanks and excellent question! The thing is with hay nets, you have to tie them up high as it's really easy for horses to get caught up in them. The rope that pulls the hay net tight is long and dangly, and there're some haynets with large holes that are big enough for the horse's feet to go through them. All equestrian yards I've been to have really strickt rules about tying hay nets as high as possible to minimise the risk of injury. I hope this answered your question :))
