Congrats man happy anniversary haha! I’ve had mine since she was brand new in ‘17. Man time flies! By far, my favorite of all I’ve had over the course of my life. Nothing like em that’s for sure. Got a 14 Vic Cross Country 8 ball as well at the moment, and even though it’s literally made for the high miles (and if we’re being honest, muuuuch more comfortable), if I’m cruising somewhere local or any trip under 100 miles or so, I’m grabbing the Busa key. I was born and raised in Vegas and grew up on two wheels trail riding the now developed desert trails as a kid, then started with my first GSXR 750 at 17. Rode w a huge group of guys back then who all met up on the strip on Fridays and Saturday nights and usually ended up finding a way onto an empty stretch of the beltway freeway they were building back then to do speed runs, drag races, and just screw around without the worry of any traffic. Sometimes upwards of at least 50-60 sport bikes. Never got in any trouble cause half the guys there were off duty metro cops riding their personal bikes haha! Couple of times one guy brought his speed radar so we could all make legit bets lol. This was back in, hell, ‘99/2000. Different times man. But yeah, I got close to a few Busa guys, and had a few different opportunities to swap bikes for a couple runs here and there. Absolutely fell in love with the Busa the first time I even sat on one. I’m a big guy, 6’5, and even though the gixxer 750 was/is a good size bike, nothing fit me like a Busa. Tough to justify or come up with Busa money at 17/18 though. Fast forward about 20yrs and after my second divorce, I finally decided it was time to treat myself. One of the best things I’ve ever bought for sure. We may be middle age guys, but we’re still the same 18yr olds wanting the same kinda toys, but now we’ve got the money to buy them! Actually been really leaning toward buying a new gen 3 in the next couple years. Still gonna keep my ‘17. She’s my baby for sure and it’s just nice to be able to see her in the garage now and still would be even if I had a gen 3 sittin next to her. Sorry for hijacking your comments with my story haha! Just found it funny we’re pretty much on the same timeline with our Busa’s. Keep the videos coming man. Really glad I found your channel. Safe travels bud

Hi! Im from England 🇬🇧 just subbed , i know youve done videos on yr straight bars, ive a part fused wrist on my throttle hand, so cant do clip ons, i can get the full kit in uk, im 5ft 9 ish , just wondered if the riding position is more or less upright with conversion? Also did you need to lower the pegs to compensate sitting more upright? Any help is much appreciated as ive always wanted a busa ! Cheers

Position is more upright , but not ADV bike upright . Pegs are optional , but the Busa is fairly roomy compared to liter bikes . I do use a 3/4 inch lowering peg , but not needed if you rides are just a few hundred miles .

Glad to see the bike.. What happened to the Russell Day Saddle?

I still have it . I made a stock seat into a breathable seat for our humidity issues, and to make running around town eaiser . For ac ny ride over 100 miles the Russell goes on . It's also part of a weight reduction program for RJ
