That little case is cool. You could even do one that size with a 1U row on the bottom of it, and probably skip the external keyboard. (Use a 1U keyboard or sequencer, with a few other 1U utilities.) I have one about that size, and I power it with a battery pack ( I use a 50000 mAh laptop power bank with mine and it runs everything well). I use it to get off the grid for inspiration, or sometimes just breaking out of the big case, and focusing on a few modules that I want to dive deeper on. Regardless, I always love seeing how people think through their setups. Thanks for sharing the video!

THanks FTP - yes 1U would be nice, but to be honest I actually enjoy using this keyboard as a 3 track musical sequencer vs a tiny 1U one. I did have a rack I used a lot with a middle 1U and had things like steppy etc in there, but adding 1U would mean buying a bunch more modules which I am avoiding - I have a few 25k mAh but looking at something bigger like yours so I can get 10+ hours operation per charge.

Thanks Phil - yes some more comfortable hiking too! I have two quite small power stations (generic Jackery style AC units) for the Mantis. They have worked well for a year + outside, but looking forward to going USBc PD which will be much more efficient ...

Love your videos. You probably know about this already but the new qunexus doesn't need that blue box. I used to have the old qunexus and found that quite annoying.

Thanks LFM - re: qunexus I have two of the older ones already so not keen on getting the newer model as it only has midi out anyhow. If you want to get midi clock in you still need the blue box annoyingly...
