Agree Josh - convert the TV wall to pantry storage, put TV above sink on an extendable arm, expand the bathroom where the other pantry unit is and make the shower rectangular. Floor vents not a fan and fart fans are non-starters... Overall okay unit...

I agree as well but leave the cabinets over the sink. Put the tv inside on some kind of coolguy bracket that allows for some storage behind. Then you can essentially close the tv cabinets up when not being utilized.

We have this camper and we installed a floor magnetic door stopper to secure the bathroom door open when the slide is closed. Love the fact that we can always access the bathroom. If not for this great idea...it would have been a deal breaker!

For road mode bathroom access, and I know it would put your seating further away from the tv, but if the dinette and sofa were swapped you would lose the half wall behind the dinette that does not allow the bathroom door to open. Then moving the tv and installing the pantry wall sounds like the best of all worlds to me. Too many substitutions? Probably. Might as well throw the versalounger in too. Haha. This is my model and I love it! Just purchased it and never researched any video reviews..fell in love with it when I first walked through it. Plenty of space for traveling alone or when the mister comes along so for us it's perfect 🥰

Bathroom is a killer for this one. Cant stand a vent next to the toilet. However your idea of a pantry wall with the tv over the sink combos well with giving that cabinet space back to the bathroom.

We own a 2019 243RBS. It's a perfect couple's RV. With the super slide and rear bath, there's so much open living space. The bathroom is decent. The bedroom could be 6" bigger, for better access to the other side. But we really like most everything about it

Our first trailer was the 2017 model. I didn't realize how lucky we got by picking this one as our first trailer! Great space inside for 2 adults and 2 fat labs. Putting it up for sale now and moving on to a 5th wheel.

@@JoshtheRVNerd The biggest thing was the way the bathroom vanity was, it looked like an afterthought. The edges were beveled and it looked like water could run down the side along the wall. I noticed that in other Catalinas as well. The way the storage under the TV was laid out wasn't divided well. I'm pretty sure this is the unit I'll be buying in the very near future. I will have a free-standing table and chairs and a pair of push-back recliners in the slide.

Hey Uncle Josh you could take the bathroom door off the hinges an hang a dark curtain up an when you get to your destination put the door back up. But that is a awesome idea you had about the versalounge that would be way cool. The tv on a rotating wall insert would be cool. The fan in the bathroom an living room needs to be the 11 inch fans an not the 4 inch fans. Keep up the great work on the videos Uncle Josh!!!!!!!!

found it thanks you Josh! 1. question is the side out 12v DC or 220ac? can you open it with its battery or do you need to put in on power. that way its a matter where you park for room to get it out to stock it up before a trip or if you have to plug it up.

Why don't they reverse the couch and dinette order? I think the couch is more useful to watch tv. I'd rather have that be useful than the dinette. Otherwise you're 100% right about flipping the location of that and the storage

Nice trailer thanks Josh! I like your idea about the TV pantry. Bathroom needs to be switched big shower on the right, sink on the back, and toilet in the middle with the upper storage. And outside optional kitchen or more storage. Coachman is one of my favorite choices and shame on them for fart fan, there is no excuse especially at 42k msrp. This is too expensive for stick and tin at Biden's current fuel shortages. To expensive for this period! 😞 sorry!

Me too, not a fan of the versa lounge, either. I prefer theatre seating, but this little jacket knife sofa with fold down armrest/ cup holder is not a deal breaker. (I'd get one of those small square storage footrests from Walmart for $25. They come in black, gray, or beige. They're lightweight, can move from side to side to middle easily.) I also like the idea of moving the tv to be across from seating, and making a floor to ceiling storage in its precious location.

It's actually not white but it's not a hard match. By contrast it's certainly lighter than the other metal. I inquired with Catalina about it -- i'm told the supplier of those doors only offers white, black, and that light grey. They could have it painted but it would be $$$ by comparison.
