In my experience, it is pretty obvious when a girl likes you. However, often times the girls who like me..I'm simply not into them. However, some girls are good at hiding their intentions so yes I do think being direct is best even if you lose their friendship. You can always meet new women who are willing to date you.

Never volunteer your name first.Ask her name first, if she asks what your name is after she tells you hers then she IS attracted to you, if she doesn't ask your name, she's not attracted TO YOU...Move on

I've seen women point out "hot guys" to each other in bars and clubs. From my experience, women tend to have instant attraction based on looks but not realise it or pretend. Was out for a meal when a good look guy walked in and instantly the chatter was about how hot he was without any connection or time. Looks are of huge importance for both men and women.

+Marty Drury we all have a degree of physical attraction towards others. But we all have a huge power to make people more attrcated to us by how we engage with them. Waiting to be chosen is not a game I'd advise anyone to play

+Hayley Quinn thanks for replying & I would like to believe that. I've just seen no evidence of it. Sure you can connect with someone but connection is not attraction. If you go in without attraction , you run a lot of risks including looking as if you don't understand social situations and appearing "creepy" which is basically code for ugly guy trying to approach someone. If you're good looking, none of that applies as you're instantly liked regardless of behaviour unless you take behaviour to extremes.

+Hayley Quinn I do like your approach the most out of dating coaches. It's just what you say about women and looks does not match up to my experience and beliefs are formed from experiences. As is confidence. Without positive experiences we can't counter the brains negativity bias. You can't just decide you're confident or that women find you attractive unless evidence supporting that exists. And if you lack looks, the likelihood of women liking you goes down. I tried being the cocky confident pua dude other instructors encourage you to be and it didn't work. It also felt awful. But not being the good looking cocky confident isn't sexy.

+Hayley Quinn I do appreciate you replying and I'm not trolling here. I'm genuinely open to new things if evidence backs it up. A friend and cold approached a woman ages ago on the street. He has a more masculine jaw than I do which means he was more likely to be received well so he talked to her to begin with. But he had no idea what to talk to her about so I spoke up and we connected well. But of course, connection without looks isn't going anywhere. Just wildly approaching people may work for guys with good faces but it's not a good strategy for someone who lacks looks.

Yeah women, even daughter whispers to mother how beautiful guy is... but they just admiring. Maybe wet spot from day dreams, I don't know. I grew up surrounded by women of all characters, they just as different from each other as jocks, nerds, and stoners too.

Yesterday, while I was shopping, a woman walked up to me in the frozen food aisle at grocery store and asked me .. "why did you choose that brand of pizza?" .. I said .. Hayley, I think there is a matrix. Like the more attractive you are, the more shy you should be? The more ugly, the more charming? Also, it is hard to know how much to tell your life and let the person in, and how much hold back and be mysterious. I always fail this... because it is calculation

I do wish this was true. I do like your approach. It's just ive a lot of female friends (genuine not nice guy stuff. When your face lacks the correct masculine jaw, mates is easy but attraction is hard) and I've seen women point out the hot good looking guy and go for looks. I've also had the experience of women loving the shy, insecure good looking guy but thinking the shy, insecure ugly guy is creepy. Looks have power over women and men. With this face, my behaviour and who I am won't matter to women because looks are needed for attraction

For men it's essentially the women's looks. That's the truth. It's also the great mistake we men make because often that's the only currency these women have. Women lose often their looks more quickly/dramatically the men and the dreadful personality is all that is left.

A good looking guy will most likely have had positive responses from women if other problems are absent so he's more likely to assume women like him. But what happens if you're ugly face wise? A lot of women tend to make snap judgements about a guy based on his facial features. When a guy experiences that over time, why would he assume women like him? Not every woman does that but people learn from experience

+Marty Drury There are a lot of people out there that are considered "empirically attractive"... Models, anyone? How much more validation can you get than being so "attractive" that you would be in a magazine about being attractive? Yet, many of them don't consider themselves attractive and, in fact, would give you a big long list of the surgeries that they would need in order to feel attractive. None of those surgeries ever solve their problem. Why is that? It's obviously not that they're "ugly". It's their mindset. They do not love themselves or respect themselves for who they really are and that shows through by nit picking every god damned imperfection on the surface level. STOP rejecting yourself and other people will stop rejecting you. You are stuck in your own personal matrix of bullshit. You are comfortable with the idea that "[I'm ugly, therefore, no one will ever be attracted to me.]" You can say, "[This is my experience, therefore, this will happen.]" If you start from that mindset, no one will ever want to give you advice again. Period. You are basically communicating to them that their advice has no validity and that you know better. In some matters, that may be true, but it doesn't sound like you have a lot of experience dating. Therefore, the person giving advice thinks that this person is set in their ways does not want to hear what they have to say. Not only that, the person asking doesn't want to accept that someone may know better because of not only their experience, but the countless experiences of others that they have themselves witnessed. Instead of the defeatist mindset, give this a try, "[This is what I have to work with. My skills are this, this, this and this. Wow, I'm really thankful for those skills. I love myself for who I am, inside and out. I'm going to tackle my passions with such completeness that nothing else matters.]" Things you need to do before ever considering dating: 1) Love yourself completely and thoroughly 2) Don't give a shit what anyone thinks of you WHILE doing what you know to be right and true for both yourself and others 3) Discover your passions and go after them After you know that you've got all of that down, apply Hayley's advice. She knows her shit!

Have to say, and this is from many a date, and a lot of approaches. If you do not have good looks, it's over before it started. Men know this. Women do to. Not a thing we can do. Not a PUA, so I'm not that good looking, and i'm kind of a rough individual. Strike three. You get two strikes automatically for not being that metro sexy guy, like a cologne add. That's OK. Didn't used to be so superficial, but times change. As I've said. Your side won, and we kind of left. No sense hanging around on the field. We lost. Bring on a better team. these are the PUAs. Read an article this morning where a study conducted on women found that they find 1 in 10 men date-able. Hmmm.
