Can’t express how much this comment hits home! I’d literally set nails and swing a hammer for hours on end if you could just go to the lumber yard from the story mode and buy a kit/ load of lumber for a house or barn.

I’ve always thought that naturalist should have perks where animals will become less startled or disturbed by you, and hostile animals wouldn’t attack as often or as aggressively. Stuff that would actually make it feel like your character is getting a lot closer with nature.

Yea instead they sort of do that with the tonics you can buy from Harriet, where animals aren't startled by your scent as easily, you aren't affected by the cold or heat, etc. There should have been a lot more and I would rather see them as perks or skills instead of temporary boosts that tonics give you. That way you can build it into different ability card loadouts and theres more variety.

TIP: Slow your game down. It will all come to you. First ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PROGRESS REWARDS. Second EXPLORE!!!! Get to know the map. Third even though there is so much going on but DONT FORGET ABOUT THE BUTCHER. Yes frequently check and sell products to him also. If you don’t just think about how much money you LOSSED. Like wolfhearts, gaming bird meat, javelin tusks… flight feathers… etc. If you can carry 30 that adds up big time. Pick pick pick ingredients until your whole inventory is 100%.Then sell it back to a doctor. When doing this it good to check your progress rewards too. I mean get to all ingredients and materials in your satchel filled. Fourth LOOT LOOT LOOT. I played with some others and apparently nobody looted. Well I did and picked up a treasure map. I will have more little in game tips later. This is absolutely whole lot to read for right now. ROCKSTAR IS BROKEN AND CAN NOT BE FIXED!!! ROCKSTAR SUPPORT SYSTEM IS A ROBOT!!!

I wish they'd give us in invite only sessions and allow us to make sales and stuff in those invite only sessions. Everytime I come across a player I get all stressed out because I'm not sure if they're gonna let me alone or be a jerk and kill me. Had a bad experience on my first day of red dead online. I got griefed. Pretty much out of nowhere lassoed off my horse and tied up and taken away from my friends. I guess it scared me because I honestly wasn't expecting it and plus my irl past has some things I'm not gonna go into but I think it may have something to do with me getting scared. But now everytime a player shoots me on Red Dead Online my heart beat starts getting so fast and doesn't slow down. I'm not sure if it's just me going into an adrenaline rush or what but I'm hoping it's nothing bad. Aside from the griefers i genuinely love the game and I wish that Rockstar would have kept giving big updates to the game. So much wasted potential 😞

Got griefed many times when I first started. Then I got good and started fighting back. Don't have to worry about it anymore. Learn how to fight back and be confident in your encounters so that every situation prepares you. I often shoot first and ask questions later...I don't let anyone get close enough to lasso me. Gotta love the Carcano and Lancaster.

Hey! Welcome to the game. You’re gonna have an awesome time. There are other players in the game world if you’re playing Red Dead Online. In RDR2 story mode it’s singleplayer so it’s just you. In multiplayer there are up to 30 players in one session/lobby. They can shoot you if they want but most are friendly. They can’t rob you for your money or anything though so don’t worry about that. If you find players are trying to grief you a lot there is a defensive mode option you can toggle so that you can stay a little bit safer in that regard

definitely use slippery bastard, it just depends on if you are trying to build a tank load out so you don't take a ton of damage, or a load out to deal a lot of damage. make sure to have good deadeye cards

I'm currently using slippery bastard, gunslingers choice, sharpshooter, and unblinking (I think that's the name). I swap out the gunslinger depending on what guns I'm using, short game for shotguns, etc.

Honestly I just like fishing...though wish I could sell to more people and not just the butcher... and my biggest gripe: R* not using the Fence's drop down box concept (all, docs, provisions, etc) for the player's personal mailbox - still hate having to find my ammo amongst all the freebie plants I somehow was rewarded.
