Now, however, for the Official series he's set to be played by Amir Talai because Viv loved his cover of the song and sent out a casting call once she heard it

Brightman can do a completely different voice, he has some special condition/thing with his vocal cords. Fizzarolli uses it, it's the same thing he did when he was in Beetlejuice! He might use his normal voice for Sir Pentius. You can check how Brightman sounds in most of his musical roles (really like him in School of Rock!) compared to Beetlejuice. Night and day, he even used his normal singing voice for a gag in Fright of Their Lives in Beetlejuice. It's around the middle of the song that he gets his little soliloquy

I am sad they didn’t bring back Stamper and Michael, but their replacements are phenomenal. The voices add so much to the characters, I’m glad they put so much effort into finding good replacements. Edit: I had no idea Stamper had so many issues, I was just a fan of his VA work and animations when I was younger so it was cool seeing him in a current project. Knowing what I do now, I can see why they had to replace him.

I completely understand the reason this is happening, but…I’m still gonna miss the hell out of the pilot voice actors. I know the new actors are all gonna kill it as these characters but to me, Michael Kovach IS Angel Dust, and Edward Bosco IS Alastor (who btw is not his singing voice in the pilot that was actually Gabriel C Brown) and I know a lot of other people feel that way too. The thing that makes it even harder to say goodbye is if you’re a hunicast fan like I am, I feel like I spent so much time with the old voice actors to the point where they kinda became my friends, and they would say weird shit in the voices just for fun, so it sucks to not see them come back for more especially because I know how talented they all are. It’ll take time, hell it might not even take that long but I can accept that these are their new voices, I’ll just have to get used to it. They’re gonna do amazing anyways so maybe I’m just being a big old weirdo about it. Although I very much hope that one day there’ll be a Hunicast with the old and new voice actors, even though it’ll probably never happen

Im usually pretty bitter about professionals (especially VERY VERY well established professionals) getting roles that could have been better utilized by lesser known talent but man did A24 do that new casting something special. And for what was just an indie project before? What a shine up

Just noticed this neat little change about Charlie's old and new designs. For her new one, her skin tone became a bit more human like in color, comparing to the pilot's where its almost pale white. I'm just speculating that Charlie could've change her form to look more "human" when she greets the sinners inside the hotel. Bc we know, if we've watched the pilot, in the midst of her singing her main song there, she momentarily transform into a bit more demonic side of her. So I think her skin would get back its pale white feature when she transforms.

I'm sad to see the OG voice actors being replaced, but they couldn't have possibly picked better stars to take on the roles! Everyone is like...AMAZINGLY cast... (Also I'm a big Broadway and especially Christian Borle fan so I am very happy) (Also I know Vivzie is too and just KNOW our girl had such a huge hand in the casting choices)

They don’t need to come back, I think the new roles are perfect. However, I know Michael kovach voices characters in lackadaisy, the amazing digital circus etc, and Edward bosco voices a few parts in helluva boss. Not sure about the others

I know it’s sad the the OG cast isn’t returning but y’all Hazbin is a musical series so it makes 100% sense that they casted actors who are also insanely talented singers. They probably didn’t want to pay both the main voice AND the singing voice Like 80% of these actors are Broadway STARS. Like Tony Nominated and Award Winning singers. And if they aren’t tony nominated they’ve done musical voice acting roles as well. Stephanie Beatriz was Mirabel in Encanto, Keith David was Dr. Facilier in Princess and the Frog, Kimiko Glenn was in Waitress on Broadway and played Horse in Centaurworld and Izzy Moonbow in the MLP G5 movie. These actors are CRAZY good singers, which is more than appropriate for a MUSICAL TV series
