I like how you cut the music but keep the singing to avoid copyright. I'd rather have a capella singing than none. 4 years after the pilot, and the wait was so worth it. I'll miss the old voices, but the new voices are amazing. Lots of famous voices and Broadway stars. Also, I love the hypocrisy of Adam saying he's never made a mistake, when he's the one who committed the original sin. If anyone should be stuck down there it's him. Alex Brightman nailed it with "Hell Is Forever," though.

People gt the idea of him being a cannibal due to his planned appearance in Viv's previous project Zoophobia and a comic but it was never officiallized that he is indeed a cannibal. But yes that's exactly what Alastor is, a radio boomer. With enough power to subjugate all of hell if he wanted to.

So there's a lot of Broadway talent in this cast now because that's the vibe they're going for. There's also some crossover with Helluva Boss, which is a companion series that looks just as good as Hazbin but is more of a weird romance soap-opera story about imps and a few other types of hell-born demons. Vivzie's got a whole complicated social hierarchy for Hell worked out.

Yeah, Charlie and Vaggie are together! Angel is a cis guy and is gay, plus a femboy and drag queen so the chest fluff confused people a bit sometimes, yeah. I don't think it's a spoiler bc I doubt it'll be brought up at any point and has been confirmed/discussed by Vivzie but Alastor is canon AroAce which finally some rep for us even if it's a crazy powerful scary deer overlord lmao! Actually I'm pretty sure Niffty, the little maid one, is the only canon straight character at the hotel right now. They don't really make a big deal out of discussing the sexuality of characters it seems or go out of their way to make the relationships extra super obvious, they just exist which is really nice! But Charlie and Vaggie are already confirmed and dating at this point and canon, and they all have canon sexualities already known: Charlie (bi), Vaggie (lesbian), Angel Dust (gay), Alastor (AroAce), Husk (Pan), and Niffty (Straight)

I can say that the episode one seems to let us the audience view some aspects that Angels are the true villain and not demons. As Charlie’s Crew are the good guys with a goal in the life of changing souls. Also it seems quite adorable to compare Charlie and Vaggie to Harley and Ivy. 😄 Since the Pilot Ep explains on Charlie and Vaggie relationship to be canon of being lovers is a nice thing. So I can’t wait for next episode as it’s going to focus on Alastor. Then I believe 3rd is Vaggie, and 4th is Angel Dust and Husk story. So last the 5th Ep going to be a good one till 6th episode going to be coming in March with Invincible S2 continuing from the halfway point of the season. Also I have to state that Vaggie’s Name is shorten from Vagatha. 😅

I’m sure other people have pointed this out, but I love that in the initial commercial he made, the screen always goes a little staticky whenever Alastor’s hands come into view. Another cool detail is the animation style of the prologue. Some of the earliest animated films ever created were done with paper cut-outs (e.g. The Adventures of Prince Achmed by Lotte Reiniger), and it’s such a clever method to allude to that style to illustrate the beginnings of Hazbin’s world.
