17:10 Charlie is a Hellborn, as the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. Her and anyone who was born in hell are pardoned from the exterminations as the purpose of it is to curb the population of the sinners. Since she’s never been human or been on Earth, she and other hellborn demons and imps can’t be judged, let alone receive ‘redemption’. Which not only is an interesting footnote to how the exterminations are supposed to function, but also makes her cause incredibly noble as she really doesn’t have to be involved in it. The hellborn princess of hell thinks redemption of someone who’s sinned is possible AND believes human lives, even after death, are worth saving.

Nah you're not. Alastor is reasonably more likeable than Bill Cipher because despite his sadism, he's old-timey polite and he doesn't kill people with no second thoughts. He only kills people who deserve to die. He's evil, sure, but also charismatically manipulative and his intentions are such a mystery that it makes the audience want to see more of him

You might not have realized but Charlie isn’t a human soul gone to hell, as Lucifer daughter she is hell born, and hells princess, so she never goes to heaven. There are several additional rings in hell not related to human sinners who are only in the pride ring, and over there it’s just basically their version of normal life- sort of. They have a sister show, helluva boss that goes more into it.

Something that happens in hell is that people gradually regeneration when they are injured, even when beyond the point of what happened to that guy at the beginning of the pilot. But the only way they are truely dead is if killed by one of the exorcists as they use "special" weapons that can do the type of damage as something on earth would do(akait can fully kill)

The creator of this is a massive Disney fan, so yes... this is her Disney Princess, but in hell, show. Happy Day in hell is basically the opening number for Beauty and the Beast. And this will almost certainly end up on Broadway, especially as the entire voice cast almost is from Broadway already. Seriously. Shows don't get made with this sort of quality very often. And the story and characters aren't just there, they have very real problems and stories.
