Somebody pointed out to an interesting idea about Alastor. Alastor claims he hasn’t been as entertained as he was during Charlie’s musical number since the Stock Market Crash Of 1929. From that comment, it can perhaps be gleaned that what interests Alastor isn’t just horrific events, but events that will shake or outright destroy the status quo. There have been other horrible events in human, and even just American if we stick to the same region, history since then. He might not be there solely to laugh at failed attempts at redemption like he claims. Maybe he is legitimately interested in how Charlie might shake things up with her plan and actions and wants to have a front row seat to the chaos and the chance to boast about having a hand in whatever fallout is coming their way. There is no way to tell how honest he was and it is noted that nobody really knows his true goals. Also, did you notice how Niffty still had a little smile on her face after Alastor showed Sir Pentious a taste of his power?

So Charlie is Half Human (Lilith Queen of the Succubi) and Half Fallen Angel (Lucifer). In terms of raw power Charlie is likely top tier demon since the most powerful fallen angel and oldest of fallen humans is her parents, but she seemed to have inherited Lucifer's original angelic nature making her the single most pure and good demon there is. Remember, we always should fear the good ones should they ever turn evil. Im sure her pure demonic nature would scare most demons if popped out longer then a split second.

@@thomasallen9974 well the thing is, interpretations are up for grabs, it can be given a twist of them being sent to hell and keeping their original nature in themselves after being forsaken by God, because while most go to hell as an afterlife, being simply throw there skips the dying and soul twisting process, so she is the daughter of a full human and an angel, that's why she's so off place, because while Lucifer and Lilith took their roles and ran with them in hell, Charlie doesn't have any real role and is the daughter of a being sent by God and a human… so she's pretty much the hells equivalent of Jesus… Lucifer tempts Adam and Eve to eat the apple, and Charlie tempts demons to be better, something they wouldn't try to do. Art interpretation twists my brain into a pretzel.

The more clear alastor's voice get the more serious he is being. Like he was serious about meeting Charlie cause his voice goes clear when he says "pleasure to meet you", and when he said "if I wanted to hurt you i would've done it already," cause he really did mean it. And was serious about making a deal with her. Again with his reason for showing up at the hotel and finding entertainment through the ophans of the stock market crash. And this seriousness can be hinted at through the quote at the end "stay tuned", possibly meaning that there will be more epiosdes. Edit: and his voice was clear all throughout the song as well

The woman at 3:38 is Lillith, Charlie's Mother, one of the 4 Demon Queens of Hell. The shadowed figure in the chair at the very back of the room is Lucifer, her Father. This means that Charlie's parents are the two most absolutely powerful beings in Hell. Ironically, this means that Charlie cannot be redeemed or enter Heaven, as she is effectively the Anti-Christ

Crack pot theory: Alastor is getting involved so he can get to Lucifer through Charlie. Just to let you know, airier, theres a bit more complex theology hiding under the surface. Vivzie has stated she loves hell theology, and so its very likely the angels are in actuality fallen angels. That lucifer is in charge of the purging. She is very careful with their words, with what they say and how they say it. Purposefully leaving it open-ended so as to possibly subvert our expectations. Thats just what i took away from it though

I think the grin that Lucifer and Alastor share is meant as a symbol of power, to show them both as overlords of Hell. Alastor never stops smiling because he believes it to be a show of power and dominance, like an "I'm the boss" kind of thing. I have a theory about his relationship with Nifty and Husk: he summons both of them out of nowhere whenever he wants. Husk even implies that they may have had deals in the past! And Nifty...she ignores Alastor once he summons her, then zips around, possibly avoiding him (his neck does a near 180 as he watches her without moving). I think she might be afraid of him for some yet unknown reason.

My theory on Alistor is he was dubbed the "radio demon" he didn't give himself that name. So he dons that persona and voice to play the role. His voice is clearer the closer he get to being his true self so that's how you know when he is most genuine

The funny thing is when you said the angels looked creepy, we now see angels as gorgeous people with wings, but in the Bible they are actually scary and creepy looking. Demons were the supposed “gorgeous” human looking beings as a way to tempt humans. That is also why in the Bible when the angel Gabriel comes down to Mary he says “Hark don’t be afraid.” I don’t really do religion as. Former catholic but I thought that was pretty interesting

I love how I wasn't the only one who noticed all the tiny details in the characters' expressions and voice! I find it a mystery that Charlie is just beaming positive energy, but there are little hints of her demon side here and there that put you on edge and remind you that she is still... evil? Maybe? Especially that scene at 12:28 where she brainwashes the dragon into being good! That's not good, but that's what she may think of "good"! Because how would a demon know what's truly good or not? I'd love to see this expanded later on! Also yes, everything about this was a masterpiece. After I saw it: Instant 11/10. Disney has some competition!

I am spreading this in anywhere I can. I am here to retcon the theory that Alastor and Charlie's father are the same. You see, Charlie's father was already seen sitting on a chair behind the demoness who opened up the curtains during the opening sequence. He's overshadowed but that's on purpose. If you look closer, behind that one demon with the skull hat, you can see a demon shadow sitting on a chair holding a staff with an apple symbol on it. The very same kind of staff Charlie's father has. Also, this silhouette has a hat similar to her father's. So that's definitely him. Time stamp2:26 At at this time, Alastor was already out there in the streets. And so, since these two were far apart from one another I doubt that these two are the same person. Maybe aesthetic wise, they are. But definitely not the same person. Cheers!

It feels like not many people catch things like angel trying to comfort Charlie and saving Cherry Bomb, the beautifully done swash and stretch on the characters, all the small details like the family photo of Charlie with Lucifer and Lilith. Also your theory on Alastor being an angel is interesting. I’d fancy him a fallen angel myself. I also have a prediction theory where Charlie dies in the next cleansing and becomes an angel.

My working theory is that there are two types of people in Hell, the original demons since its creation and mortal souls sent to Hell that manifest into a certain forms. The original demons are those like Satan/Lucifer and Lilith (pretty sure Lilith is Charlie's mom and Lucifer might be her dad, but I'm not sure on the latter). So the original demons can have children, like Charlie, but I haven't seen confirmation that mortal souls can have children.

Through out my life I have watched lots of scary things. Sometimes I kept a straight face. But others I closed my eyes or ran. But now that I'm older, I always keep a straight face for every scary thing. And Alistor's "terrifying" face is like a bunny to me.
