Guedes is already being picked in the starting XI. Hwang is likely to be the player replacing Cunha, or perhaps Sarabia if he recovers from injury.

It isn’t always one way traffic What did the Ipswich staff member say or insinuate as he wasn’t the closest person to Cunha and others were stopping Cunha getting to him It needs an in depth investigation to come to a fair decision for both involved

That's very interesting, Harry. Like most fans, I'm still wondering if there was more to it. I mean I still don't understand why Cunha reacted in the bizarre way he did and by singling out someone who wasn't even close to him at the time of his initial attack. Seemed like there must be a backstory such as a remark this guy made to him, racist or otherwise. Anyway, you have explained the delay perfectly, although I still think there must be more to this than just what we saw - which was quite horrendous really. As for the delay, I honestly couldn't give a toss. Why worry about what other clubs feel about it? In the immortal words of the great Terry Thomas, hard cheese, old boy, hard cheese!

There is certainly a more detailed investigation going on. Pretty obvious the security guard said something to wind Cunha up and that will be taken into account.

They just sorted out the Duran ban (Villa) in 24 hours. So they are in office. There is more to this than we know. I think the Ipswich security guy might have said something bad to get that reaction from Cunha. I think it will be 3 games.

They can’t be on holiday as they already sorted out the Villa player ban in 24 hours. Best result is having him for Spurs and Forest game and starting the ban on the cup game. I genuinely think it will be a shorter ban than people believe due to how the security guard acted before hand.

I think the whole process of investigation should have been completed within a week from the date of occurrence and the judgement whether to ban the player or not should be given on the same day after completion of the investigation. The governing body should expedite the process.

Does feel like there's a little more to it all as well, there may be mitigation which needs examining. He does need a ban unfortunately but if there is mitigation it may not be the horrendous ban we expect

Lets hope its just a 3 game ban.... that includes the Bristol game ...hopefully mitigating factors and any action by the other parties may reduce the ban from 5 to 3 games..after all there must have been a trigger to spark cunha s reaction........VP will have a contingency plan to get the remaining available players to step in with goals and keep the momentum! C'mon Wolves! In the meantime....play cunha while he is cranking.

We need to be able to function just as efficiently when ANY player is unavailable. Cunha will be a miss, but we'll still have XI players on the pitch. We're missing Mosquera, Boubacar Traore, Enso Gonzalez and Sasa Kalajdzic through injury - all clubs need to cope through injuries and suspensions. And this is a self-inflicted wound - let's not forget that it's Cunha's stupidity and lack of discipline that has let the club down. Cunha is a brilliant player when he's focused and determined, but he's too emotional and sulks when things don't go his way and he sometimes he tries to dribble too much and misses opportunities for passes. Even if I wasn’t a wolves fan I don’t think it deserves a ban. The security guard shouldn’t have been on the pitch with glasses anyway he should be wearing contact lenses or sporting goggles and Cunha shouldn’t have lost his rag there’s a lesson to be learned for both of them. Fine Cunha and that’s fair tbh but a 5-10 match ban is just ridiculous
