Question . I am putting together a DB8T and the center diff seems to bind when I mount the center diff assembly to the chassis. If I back out the screws a bit it spins free. Doesn’t seem right to me went through the steps and everything is where it should be. That’s not normal is it?
@TheHammer2 жыл бұрын
No. Not normal.

@@TheHammer well that’s a bummer. I’ll have to reach out to HB. I’ve tried everything. New bulkhead parts, rebuilding the center diff and it’s the same result. Thanks

@@reyesreef3714 I have had a spur gear that was machined wrong once and it made the diff sit in there too tight.
@reyesreef37142 жыл бұрын
@@TheHammer that would make sense since I have to press the center diff in hard to get to sit in the assembly. I’ll try a different spur gear. Thanks for the help.

Did you switch to the longer shock ends for more droop? I ran it without switching and it didn't feel too bad at all. I did make several other changes though. I went to 5k in the rear, right off the bat and some other stuff. #hbheatwave
@TheHammer3 жыл бұрын
Yes on the longer shock ends. Still doesn't have tons of droop. I don't think it needs all that much droop.

@@TheHammer yea especially on that track. We'll see how it does in El Paso next month.
