*Nelsan Ellis wasn’t just Lafayette Reynolds, he WAS True Blood!* He was that voice that everyone needed to hear. He was the fun, the masquerade, the tea party & the block party. He was the main event. People think the show was about Sookie & her lovers… NOPE! Maybe that’s how it was in the books (I wouldn’t know, I still haven’t read them yet) but the show? The show was about how everybody needed Lafayette in their lives & I applaud HBO for giving us someone so unique, inspirational & fabulous to fall in love with. And I’m glad that even though the show has been off the air for years, people are still putting respect on Lafayette’s name. That shows that he truly was a magnificent character portrayed by a brilliant Actor. Rest in Power, Nelsan Ellis 💜
