That's what's baffled me about this whole thing. Join a cult in the pre-internet age? I get it. Wasn't a lot of information shared back then so I could see a local cult slipping through the cracks. But in the internet age? where the warning signs of being in a cult have been broadcasted for literally decades....

Nancy Salzman was actually sentenced to 42 months in prison and issued a $150,000 fine. Nancy also agreed to forfeit several real properties, more than $500,000 in cash and a Steinway grand piano. Salzman is currently serving her sentence at Federal Correctional Institution, Hazelton in West Virginia. Nancy got off easy. She should’ve been sentenced for a longer term.

@@paigek139 this is america and she’s a wealthy white woman, if she serves more than a year in prison before being paroled I will be genuinely shocked. @@junioradult6219 I watched the entire series, I’ve also watched seduced: inside NXVIM, which paints her and mark in a MUCH more unflattering light than this documentary they were PAID to be in, and I have read the transcripts. She got all kinds of leniency from the court that very few people who don’t look like her or have her resources would ever get. She got to delay sentencing AND the delay of the documentary release so that nothing she said in the documentary could be used against her during sentencing (meaning she perjured herself in court). She got her home confinement sentence reduced several times and STILL complained about it. She never once took responsibility for anything she created, she always put the blame on Keith despite the fact that her curriculum is specifically designed to manipulate. Her story changed multiple times throughout her interviews and no one challenged her when it did. Sounds like you fell for her white woman tears. Congrats for supporting a manipulative narcissist.
