All I know, Cotto's face look pretty busted up and he was tired as shit running/avoiding all night long. I guess maybe they werent as cement wrapped as he thought. Screw HBO! They helped to ruin boxing making it be more about the money than the sport itself. Jim Lampley hyped up on coke or something calling combinations and landed punches that didn’t even happen. He would get so excited that you never knew what would come out of his mouth that never happened to begin with. Max Kellerman was good for many years but ended up becoming a sellout. And OMG Larry Merchant, well, Larry knew his boxing history but he would himandhaul all the time before ever saying a damn thing. Every once in a while however, Larry would show a sign of true brilliance and say shit that was funny as hell, like when he did a postfight interview with Floyd Mayweather and told Floyd, "If I was 50 years younger, I'd kick your ass!!!" Best comment ever made by HBO or the representatives thereof without question. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/gGe9lqWqaruUjc0

Has anyone seen a fighter stand at mid-ring staring at his opponent after beating him like Cotto did here? It was Cotto's way of expressing his belief that Margarito did indeed have bricks in his mitts in their first fight. Cotto is a reserved and decent man so he said nothing publicly to complain, but he took this opportunity to complain silently with a very loud stare. Margarito knew he was standing there but never looked at him, it was a classic moment in boxing. Margarito's retired now and I think he's been doing some farming. It's funny how the media have convinced everyone that margarito had some kind of plaster of Paris bricks inside his gloves. If you read up about it what was found in the knuckle pads underneath his hamdwraps was 'microscopic traces' of a substance that can be found in plaster of Paris. Also found in pain killing creams. After the big debacle the governing body lost the hamdwraps in question. All seems dodgy to me. I box myself and think anyone who cheats like that should be sent to prison for attempted murder but I do not think margarito cheated. He was walking around shaking people's hands with his gloves off and wraps exposed after the first cotto fight, no way would u do that if u were concealing something underneath them.
@ricoyola9 жыл бұрын
Michael Jonas Dude, I doubt the media had anything to do with persuading the public to these facts....What escalated a controversy is the way Margarito carried himself on simple questions after they found Plaster of Paris in his wraps.... Margarito said, "I didn't feel them putting things in my hand wraps." Hilarious!... Margarito doesn't fool anybody and his face says it all. Evidence or not it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this dilemma out. The Question is why didn't they remove the wraps right after the Cotto fight.... Maybe they gambled with the fact that no one was going to notice a cut then sowed back up hand wrap. It's so funny how someone took a direct snap shot of Margarito's left hand.... Coincidence?.... Cotto has every right to make an accusation on what he found. The thing about Plaster of Paris after it hardens, it makes an equivalent structure of having brass-knuckles inside the gloves, thus causing excessive damage to the opponent.... I couldn't believe a light puncher like Margarito had Cotto gassing out by the 5th round which I found very weird in their 1st fight.... Cotto faced many pressure fighters in his career and never gasses out, but I noticed that every time Margarito was landing those left body shots and uppercuts, Cotto would then back into the rope like if he was hurt...... Mosley hits 10 times harder than Margarito, Mosley landed more shots on Cotto,, but Margarito had Cotto running away by the 5th round?? By the 9th Margarito had Cotto a bloody mess?? Hmm, weird shit!! It's simple to see Margarito cheated.
@RustyLongPipe9 жыл бұрын
'Microscopic traces of a substance that can be found in plaster of Paris, and also hand creams.'. I just don't buy it. Why wasn't he sent to prison or at least charged with something, something like that goes beyond the boxing authorities and would be considered a crime. Instead he got a lousy 12 month ban after a joke of an investigation.
@ricoyola9 жыл бұрын
Michael Jonas After the Cotto fight months passed by before Margarito was caught attempting loaded glove(s) on Mosley....politics may have played a major role having been the cause of Margarito getting only a slap on the risk and his trainer banned for life. It was Nazim Richardson who was Mosley's trainer whom found Margarito's wraps loaded.... Richardson stated that upon checking Margarito's hand wraps, he felt a hard substance on Margarito's knuckle padding. He then grabbed a scissor proceeded to cut Margarito's wraps and he discovered a substance that not even he could identify. So then Richardson proceeded on cutting the other hand wrap and there was also the same substance. Richardson called over the boxing commissioner and they made Margarito's trainer re-wrap his hands...... Microscopic traces?? Never heard of that one.... probably residue of whatever was already inside the wraps that must have been taken out. If microscopic traces was the case there would not have been a trial because in order to determine microscopic traces of a substance, there had to be probable cause for an investigation, meaning what caused Nazim Richardson to go as far as to cut the wraps in the fist place. If it was microscopic traces then the Margo-Mosley fight would have proceeded without any type of allegations because microscopic traces would have been invisible to the naked eye by anyone that day.
@micylpage83569 жыл бұрын
Michael Jonas you should go back and look at still photos of margaritos hands after the fight. There are cracks in his wraps. Gauze doesn't crack. The only thing that can touch your knuckles is gauze. Don't be an apologist he's a cheater and he got his ass beat in the 2nd fight. Anyway he was never the same after manny absolutely destroyed him and weighed 20 lbs less than him on fight night.

Silahkan terjemahkan ini ke bahasa indonesia. Berdasarkan interview Margarito pada face off with max kellerman, Margarito rela mati di atas ring.
