Thank you for this teardown! I've been looking everywhere for it's actual battery capacity. 4800mah is still not enough to fully charge my phone's battery lol. I still love this little speaker.

It's not meant to fully charge a Phone battery it's supposed to keep it charged so you can keep listening To music

What size were the batteries? You almost showed us but all i saw was 650. Are they 18650?

Negative I ended up cutting a Poland spring cap in half and stuffing it in behind the metal shielding🤣🤣🤣 it worked I don't hear the "plastic" sound anymore

It's rugged. The sound is focused around fuller midrange. It gets decently loud but watch out the bass will distort. good build but it's meant (IMO) for your personal space. maybe two to six feet. not much left/right separation. It😊 was gifted to me, and there's always a use, with no excuse

It's for mounting it to whatever you want such as a bicycle or kayak or whatever. The box comes with mounting hardware.

Had to make a new thread for mine off another mount the factory one broke when my bicycle hit a big bump in the road it didn't hurt my bike but it broke the thread out of the bottom of my speaker too bad KZbin can't text pictures or I'd show every one sadly it's probably not waterproof anymore
