Do the personal statements have to be separated into two essays? I know the application materials say "...address each of the prompts below separately." But I understand it as answering these two questions straight to the point in one word doc. So they require two docs/pdfs being uploaded?

@@selinechen3731 great question! From what I remember you can only attach one PDF file with your submission, so make sure to clearly address where prompt 1 & prompt 2 response starts. Example: All on one PDF file Prompt 1: Question: this is the prompt 1 question Answer: this is the prompt 1 answer Prompt 2: Question: this is the prompt 2 question Answer: this is the prompt 2 answer

Surprisingly there were lots of fresh grads in my cohort. There were some classmates who worked as teachers and for non profits

I'm a student finishing my Bachelor in Architecture (5 Year) Degree and I graduate with a year's worth of architecture internships under my belt next year. Do I need UI/UX or Product Design experience to apply or should I apply immediately after undergrad? I noticed that you applied to UW HCDE without any specific Interaction Design job experience.

It's been a while, but I believe the deadline for when I applied was Dec. Maybe it changed to November, but regardless if you plan to apply start your essays a month in advance minimum!!
