My 2QRT of UW's HCDE Masters Program - UX DESIGN, RESEARCH, INTERNSHIP

Hi Henry, thank you for your insights into UW's MSHCDE. You mentioned that there will be a lot of readings and articles at 6:40. I have a couple of questions regarding that: 1. is that part of the mandatory homework? 2. will there be a written test on that? 3. Do I have to give a presentation on what I've read and understood?

Hey Henry! How important is programming to succeed in this program? I have a social science background and math has never been my forte so will that aspect be difficult to handle?

Hey! I assume you mean computer programming, and the answer is you do not need any prior experience. I have a background in architecture history and community organizing, and math is not much of a focus

congrats! It's been a while but I believe there are 1-2 credit courses that you can sign up for to be apart of a research team with either a PHD student or professor. I did not go this route, but think it would make for a beneficial learning experience.
