Will do! I am 99% sure it is the driver's side mount. That is the most time-consuming to replace. But I have narrowed it down because the PAX side and this one were fine/replaced.

@@OliverPorter92 Good luck, dude. How many km's/miles do you have on your car?
@OliverPorter925 жыл бұрын
@@rightcontractingncsf4561 109,200 miles. Time for new coolant first, then that other mount, then maybe some bushings that I hear creaking. Love these cars so simple to work on.

7 mo update: the minor squeak I hear shifting low gears is not any of the three mounts - I checked / replaced all three and it is still there. It is likely a bolt somewhere that is loose/worn clamp stack/bad bushing somewhere causing a nuisance metal-on-metal clash at that transient condition. I am not worried about it, just a nuisance. Hope this helps!

Ive changed that mount three times and it keeps blowing. And I changed all the other mounts as well and kept having the problem. I’m thinking it’s the piece attached to the mount as well and I can’t find that piece anywhere. I’m pretty sure it’s called the engine mount bracket and that’s bushing is blown as well

Hello! great video. I have an issue with my 2010 mazda3 i 2.0L sedan. there is a lot of vibration when i turn the car on. the dash,steering wheel, and side view mirrors will vibrate until the car, at idle, reaches 700rpm. Once that happens the vibration goes away . When I come to a complete stop at a red light or stop sign, the vibration stops once I come to that complete stop and resumes as I accelerate. the vibration stop around 1500 rpm. The motor mounts were replaced about 20K miles ago. the engine doesn't move around. I have tried putting it in neutral when I cold start it,that's when the vibration is more obvious, and the vibration doesn't decrease. the car has no codes including no misfire codes. I recently replaced the spark plugs with new ones, but that didn't affect the vibrations. Thank you!

Hi - I am not 100% sure, but if the only major work was the mounts, it could be from non-OEM mounts, torques, or another issue with your vehicle. Sorry this is vague, but I had to isolate a vibe issue to non-OEM mounts recently so that's the first thing that came to my mind that matches your description. Good luck!

What kind of noise or signal does the car to make sure that rear mount is damage?

How do you recommend lining up if the mount has gone and the engine twisted? I cannot see any issues with the other two mounts would this mount cause it to twist so much
@OliverPorter926 ай бұрын
Not sure but I’d likely combine jacks or an engine lift

Mine does same. Whenever I put it in reverse it vibrates the engine but when I went up to the engine and pushed the engine down while still in reverse it stoped vibrating

So that's the reason the motor moves back and forth do to a Crack or broken engine mount . Pease respond. Should I buy all of the motor mounts.?
@OliverPorter922 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching. It is one reason. I can't recommend replacing all mounts, you may have to work with a mechanic to isolate the motion to a single mount or other part of the vehicle.
