I have a loud ass vibration when loading the engine, while in either drive or park. Not neutral. I has a look and I'm pretty confident it's the transmission mount. It's just so loose it's hitting the frame and vibrating my feet, the fender. everything. It's very loud when it does it. Sounds like metal on metal reply to this if you're ever interesting in the final result.

Very good and informative. My engine mount on my 2010 mazda 3 is currently busted and this helped to shed some light on how to replace mine. The one on mine sprayed yellowish liquid all over the side engine bay so yeah Its time for that to be replaced asap. P.S greetings from texas!

I have a Focus, same problems, best to change all 3 motor mounts, it felt like a brand new car as soon as I changed them. No More rattle, with the radio off, all I heard was the wind. BTW You want to get the OEM Replacement. People have had issues with 3rd party replacements that go bad really fast.

Good call, I did that before, now another side mount is gone out so I need to replace. I opted for the non-hydraulic type this time...more expensive, but I'm hoping it will last longer than the last one I put in.

@@tonykib9452 how's the non-hydraulic holding up? How many miles/kms already?
@tonykib94524 жыл бұрын
@@anihche Unfortunately, I didn't drive with it for long before I got side swiped hard enough for that mount to get knocked out of its housing, so I couldn't say beyond the 6 months I had it in. Was doing just fine until that happened though. It only bent the clamp to its housing though the rubber mount appeared fine still. I would say go for the non-hydraulic if you want something that lasts. I bought the cheaper hydraulic replacement when that happened about a year and a half ago, and I suspect it may already have busted, spilling grease out everywhere just after driving the car with no other accidents.

There was also some noisy sound before you changed the mount. I hear the same noise in my Mazda 3. When I lift the engine to the right little bit.. the noise goes away.

I'm trying to find information on whether or not the engine mount (Specifically, the right side) for the 2014 Mazda 3 2.0 L will fit the 1.5L Mazda 3. I'm unable to find a definite answer, can you say if it fits?
@FalconsGarage Жыл бұрын
I would call a parts department of mazda or maybe any parts store and ask for part numbers of both cars .. if they part number is the same .. then there it goes your answer

Check the rear mount under the car. They are common to fail.

If it’s a 4 cylinder. Yes the procedure would be almost identical.

Will the same mount also cause a rattle noise in the front passenger side, right where the mount is? My car has 162000 miles.
@FalconsGarage7 жыл бұрын

turn your wheel all the way to the right and drive in a circle. if you get loud vibrations then you should replace the passenger mount. this was my symptom
