Even if our representative didnt win and seeing that miss south africa won is very acceptable because you can actually see why she won. She won the competition fair and square although she was considered as ugly and received discrimination beacause of her color, she didnt let our society let her down but she made it as a positive way to prove to people that beauty isnt in our color but in intelligence and in heart. She is a very confident woman and very deserving of the crown. Congratulations South Africa for winning the competition and being Miss Universe 2019.

5:44 check the eye glitter. They had no choice but to give her the crown. The words that sealed it were "it stops today". She's actually telling them to give her the damn crown because she's not prepared to change her identity. So by extension alone she represented every marginalized group. Other contestants were busy talking about how they'll look like in their respective dresses, Zozi leaves herself and told us the meaning of her impactful gown...representing her country instead of herself.... Zozi-----My dress symbolises where I come from, it represents the brown of the sand and the blue of the ocean..I feel like I have South Africa with me on the stage... That line showed HUMILITY

Interesting note: Notice how South Africa could’ve pulled a three-peat starting from Miss Universe 2017, Demi-Leigh Tebow to Miss South Africa 2018, Tamaryn Green (which was won by Philippines’, Miss Universe Catriona Gray); and in 2019 with Miss Universe Zozi Tunzi. It’s like, South Africa has been guaranteed a back-to-back by the Universe, but Cat’s impact and power has stopped that feat from manifesting. Anyways, the Philippines and South Africa surely rocked the Ms. Universe in the past decade. I wonder how things will go this time.
