Excelente. Sólo comentar que para completar la instalación, tuve que conectar el cable negro que sale del motor de partida al cable negro que queda libre en el conector (doble) que va hacia el starter relay. Saludos y gracias por la info.

Hi not sure if I'm too late to get a response, but firstly thanks for the video. Quick question I had was where you mounted the new unit? I've just installed one and it seems to clash with the old earthing point on the timing cover - probably because the new unit has 2x centred mounting holes left-and-right, instead of the 4 of the original. Thanks!

What brand of regulator/rectifier? (appears to have been designed for similar vintage MotoGuzzi). does this Reg/Rect charge at 14.4-14.6 VDC? (for AGM Batteries)

Hi There, I installed the same reg/rec but also eliminated the GEN-lamp. Now it doesn’t charge. Could this be the problem?

Sorta late to the party here. Great video! I have recently noticed that my Battery is not charging vehicle riding (Bump Start). I was wondering what is the aftermarket product you are using. I am Running a r90/6.

+Richard Smith hi, I've just seen the reply function. I hope you have sorted your Beemer but if not have you checked the rectifier and diode board? Don't forget the stator, as the bushes can wear. I replaced mine with a regular pattern part from the speaclist I use. I've just checked and it wasn't branded and there are plenty on auction sites. R90, nice bike those...

Hey thanks for the reply. Sadly I have no clue how to use a multimeter to test electrical. I have cleaned the bike top to bottom. The mechanical bits a have been a challenge but the electrical have been a solid brick wall for me. Could you point me in the right direction for information on how to check a diode board. out side of that I have have my eye on this : store.bobsbmw.com/product/enduralast-ii-400-watt-alternator-upgrade-kit-for-airheads Again thank you for your video and response. It has inspired me to know there may be another way.
