One of my favourite songs. I was blown away seeing this live today. I never excepted to hear once upon a time in the west live in my lifetime. It was a dream come true. Amazing show at the Royal Albert Hall tonight the 21st of May 2019. MK was on fire. Long live the legendary Mark Knopfler.

Just saw him live the other night and he's still got it in the setlist :). Really amazing performance. Honestly the whole damn show was sensational, best show of my life. A legend surrounded by a legendary band. Might be his last tour. Either way I feel truly blessed to have seen him live once in my lifetime.

Saw him do this last night in MSG. It was one of the tunes I was most looking forward to - and he didn't disappoint! That amazing intro got me choked up and had tears in my ears. It didn't hurt that I was enjoying it from the 2nd row. What a catalog of tunes to choose from! The man is a treasure.

I was hoping for Telegraph Road, Border Reiver, and/or Piper to the End. We got Brothers in Arms, Money for Nothing, and Going Home as the encore songs. Honestly I can't complain, every song was perfection and Brothers in Arms was a real surprise. Mark killed it and the whole band is just ... wow.

Been listening and playing Knopfler since I was a kid, I love the guy and watching this makes me sad. You should maybe check your die-hard fan inability for discernment.
