Epic video for one of the hardest bosses ever. And I'm not just saying that. I find the original Death Egg Robot to be a cakewalk and I find this to be a hellish nightmare that's probably the third hardest Sonic boss I've ever played.

How is this one easier? unless you try to attack the D.E.R. while he is walking because you can't wait for him to show his weak-spot is the original just pathetic like seriously the only thing you have to do is to go into a corner let him use his crush attack get way while letting him still come down near the corner and than hit him because he can't hurt you right after he came down than just run to the other corner and repeat this 11 more times and you win.

This one gives you rings. No matter how many times you get hit, you have the chance to regain your health. In the original, there were no rings, and there was a miniboss prior to the DER itself. One hit, and you're done.

The game does have the options to mute the music. (PS3/Wii/PC as far as I know.) I believe this was done that way, then, taking the music from Sonic Generations and doing a overlay mix. It's the way I would have done it.

I'm gonna do the Wii version on an emulator, and I bet I will beat the boss first time without any hacks/cheats. This is mainly because depending on the conditions, music, location, and style of the boss, it increases my skill against the boss.
