first of all rahul you are comparing the results of hdfc bank premerger vs hdfc post merger that's why you see 37% profit growth but if you look at the eps growth it is close to 3% so i think you should compare the results QOQ rather than YOY we will compare YOY on this september when merger will complete

Basically wrong comparison. Because before 1.7.23 HDFC bank and HDFC Ltd Financials were seperate. After 1.7.23 they are Combined. So it's like comparing Apple 🍎 with an Orange 🍊

I 100% agree with all this Gyan, however end of the day we are investing only for profit, even if after holding it for 3 years gyanis are saying that it will touch 2000??? Is it a joke?? Your assertion that RBI will follow suit in cutting interest rates based on FEDERAL decision is unfounded. The RBI chairman has clearly spelled out this. The decision to cut interest rate by RBI will solely by dependent on domestic economic and political situations. Further the interest rate cut will also depend on the monsoon advances and its quantum. This also has been spelled out by RBI. If a dry weather continues there are chances that inflation rate may spur again.
