It’s beautiful system with good googles ,whoop and freestyle vtx , but sadly hd zero is behind others with video penetration. It’s on the same level as analog and hasn’t improved that much . This system is stuck at the place where only racers are able to use it because of low latency and close proximity .I have quite a few of my freestyle quads on hd zero , but probably moving to another digital system soon. Was expecting more improvement . Thanks Jeff !

Not sure what improvement you were expecting, penetration wise it's the same as analog because it's a one way transmitting system. Dji and ws has the same penetration but can retransmit lost packets (which causes more latency and dropped frames). In some cases it's just better to use another system. I'm curious if the 540p60/720p30 has better penetration/range though.

Agreed. Pretty sure the 90fps cam will have better penetration depending on the setting.

HDZero is digital 720p. You can also add an analog module.

It breaks up easily like analogue does. If you don't like constant break up and are not interested in minimum latency, this isn't for you. I wouldn't buy it. I've gone Avata...🤔😏🇬🇧

The big question is that no one seems to answer is...when will they start taking orders again? Out of Stock tells me nothing! It's a big question to most of us....

The second batch should be coming to resellers in February. Chinese New Year starts January 22nd, so it will definitely be after that. I don’t know if the HDZero website will have stock then also.

Thanks! Thick walls? lol. It’s always been this way sadly. That’s when I started a barrage of antenna testing in the old Shark Byte days. Best combo for me flying on the front or back porch is two Lumenier double Axxiis plus two TrueRC X2 Airs pointed behind me. I haven’t printed rails for my new X2 Airs yet, so this may have been with two AXII stubbies and Lollipop stubbies.

@TitanFPV damn! I always find that odd cause I can fly behind my house and a whole line of trees that are fairly thick, behind myself and that's on 200mw. My 1 watt will barely show breakup. You must uave stone walls haha

I can do it on 200mW as well. Just depends on the day lol. I used to fly the original whoop board before the Freestyle dropped.

No way to to change the white staticy pixels to black, or better if it's an out of spec value to the same color of the pixel in the previous frame (buffer), I'm sending my back. If you find where to change this let me know. 500mw and 1watte performance was disappointing.

I’d probably try selling them if you didn’t care for them. You could probably get more that you paid from someone wanting a pair. I think the way that the system handles breakup has been discussed in length previously. It could change in an update, especially since the system is open source.
