The food pyramid should be flipped! It’s so crazy to me what that stupid pyramid has done to our lives. I’m 50, and I could remember during my childhood, when my mom switched from real butter to Imperial margarine and Country Crock, and from Lard to Crisco. Then she started drinking diet sodas. Her health rapidly went downhill. Meanwhile, her mother, never made those switches, and lived to be 93, had no medical problems, took no medications, and died in her sleep naturally.

@@SpaceMedic911 - At this point in time. I believe the real problem is that before carnivore, all those issues were taken as "normal"! I always ad issues with pepper or chocolate, etc. I knew that after consuming those I would notice the effects. No doubts at all, I knew it. But at the time I would take it regular/normal. A kind of "that's life" resignation! On the other hand as a carnivore the stomach/bowel work so perfectly. That anything that get's out of that amazing balance state. Feels like an avalanche of symptoms coming back! All in all the so called "cheating" is probably one of the best gauge for keeping one on track! You fell it directly, its an immediate wake up call.
@soniasbooksАй бұрын
I thought joint cracking was "normal" but I don't crack like I used to. Actually, now if I eat seed oils I will end up with back pain for a week or 2 from the inflammation. I'm 5 years in and my back won't crack any more to relieve the pressure -- now it just hurts. If I'm tempted to eat a handful of potato chips, I just think of the back pain that is sure to result.

When I grew up in the 50's and 60's and early 70's there were NO one who was excessively obese. No electric carts at grocery stores or White Front. We did not have as many fast-food chains like you see now. All of these fast foods have sugar in the foods, so people will crave more. Spreading the message is honorable of you both and all of you carnivores. Keep up the good work. I love you all. Cancer in young people is on the rise, osteoporosis is epidemic and young people now suffer from it, 48 percent of Americans are considered obese, dementia is caused by inflammation, heart disease is on the rise. When I grew up, there was about 4 ft section of chips in the grocery store, this is on the honest truth. There were not many frozen foods to choose from. Soft drinks were a treat. People did not eat as much as people eat now. My family thankfully did not eat at fast food restaurants, thankfully, there were not many around town. Good job!! Thank you!

Adding in only one ingredient at a time allows you to pinpoint the problem.

This is the best testimony ever. I have tried carnivore several times but always get sucked back in with carb temptations. It's so hard when kids and hubby will not support the diet. I'm going to be listening to this video on a daily basis.

Great interview. We need to totally reframing our deal on health. Germ theory > pill for every I'll. Terrain theory > make the body healthy so that it can heal. Highly recommend listening to Dr. Matt Phillips. Berry's interview of Matt was incredible. Again - we need to reframe the conversation.

Awesome testimony thank you for sharing!! So inspiring!! Can't wait to see my blood work in July started keto in January transition to carnivore a couple of weeks ago What a game changer!! I can't believe I finally quit craving carbs! I feel great not hurting anymore blood sugar has normalized no more insulin still on metformin unfortunately tried cutting that in half my body isn't ready for that yet but hopefully soon I'll be able to stop that medication. I've lost 29 pounds between keto and now carnivore. Personally I like carnivore much better because the cravings are gone so unbelievable!

Mt Mother had a stroke in 2016, as her primary carer I told her it was time to sort out her diet as she was 22 stone (308 lbs) and she knew I'd lost a massive amount of weight on keto so I put her on similar. She was unable to exercise at all being wheel chair bound due to arthritis and a multitude of other ailments but in a year she lost half her body weight and she got to live out the last few years of her life a little happier. I myself have lost 100lbs in weight and I'm at my lightest weight in 30 years, this diet does work people, you just have to go for it and give it a try.

I'm so blessed and thankful I found this KZbin community. I'm 3 months in on April 16th, primarily beef, bacon, butter and eggs with occasional chicken. I still do black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder but after this video, I'm going to cut those out because I still have some joint pain even though it's way better than it used to be. I have blood work on April 24th that i'm really looking forward to. So far to this day I have lost 55 lb. I feel amazing, I don't snore I sleep well and I have tons of energy.

Thanks for watching my story. Yes, it is an incredible story about not being complacent. It applies to so many things in life, including my journey here. I stayed in my "comfort zone" way too long trusting the doctors to take care of me. Once I decided to leave that zone and search for my own truths, I discovered health and regained my life. I highly recommend the book.

Thank you so much. I was very fortunate that my doctors were so understanding. I think that this is partly because they saw the results before knowing the cause. I can't say that they wouldn't have supported it otherwise, but I think it was hard for them to argue also.

How’s his skin? Does he have stretch marks? Has the excess been absorbed? This is amazing. Congratulations, Nick! Wow! He looks great!
@SpaceMedic9117 ай бұрын
Some of the skin is still there. It would be nice if it evaporated, but with the amount of skin that I had, it isn't going to just disappear. With that said, the loose skin that I have is MINIMAL compared to what I thought it would be, and, it should continue to improve more. The skin is the least of my worries at this point. I feel amazing and am healthy. The loose skin is just a small battle scar from my journey up until this point. I can handle that!

ALL diseased/ excess tissue. simply amazing

Nick Congratulations. I farm, and ranch for a living here in Central Texas. My family and friends think I’m crazy. I went cold turkey just like you. I feel amazing. I can’t even stand to drink, or to even taste any sweets. It makes me feel nauseated. We have our cattle butchered at the local meat market, and it’s been life changing for me. Thanks for the speedy reply. I absolutely agree that getting off meds needs to be closely monitored, which is exactly what I am doing. I happen to be a veteran (don’t thank me; I’ll never get those years back) but the VA has been wonderfully supportive.
