It’s rare that you see the homeowner participating in the cleanup. He did as much as his health allowed. I noticed someone on the MJD channel asked if it bothered you to have the homeowner just sit and watch. I think for this gentleman he probably wanted/needed/enjoyed the interaction. He even provided refreshments. And, he even helped clear the porch so you could power wash. Thank you for helping him.

People like M&D are a blessing today. People get old, people get sick or injured, some people lose their family support system for one reason or another. It IS up to the rest of us to show compassion and help out those who are unable to help themselves. This man may have worn a uniform at one time, or even fought a war. This man obviously worked all of his life and probably helped many people along the way. I’m afraid Americans have lost their respect for many of their neighborhoods, their neighbors, their national blessings and their loving God. This father and son are to be commended. If there is one thing that KZbin offers that is to be mentioned is that they pay for the labors and efforts of ordinary people (like M&D) by compensating their videos. If YT did not do this, much of this assistance would not be possible. I hope soon that YT not only continues this business practice but expands it, to benefit more people world wide. Our government doesn’t care about our citizenry but thankfully, YT and everyday people like this father and son do. Thank you M&D and thank you KZbin.

Most people don't realize the anxiety that is causes a person not to be able to do the things that you take for granted that you'll be able to do until it's taken away from you under sercumstances out of your control. Recently I broke my shoulder and a month later my husband hurt his at work. It's really hard to ask for help. It humbles you and you have no idea how much you appreciate any thing that is done. Thank you for doing this yard as I could relate to how appreciative he felt. Our yard was the same way for me as I mow sometimes 2x weekly and weedwhipped. It's been 9 weeks and this week a family member came and did my yard and will continue until I'm able. The anxiety was lifted and now I know how all these people I watch on these videos feel as before I just loved the transformation. Thank you to this loving family for all you've done for this man.
