More info about his 30-day body transformation:
He is doing 3 full-body workouts per week, combined with a few challenges that take a few minutes each. The workouts are quite easy to fit in a schedule since they're 1h-1.5h long.
He is following the 90 day challenge course and only that. His diet consists of 'The Shredded Diet' and yes: dinner that his mom makes :)
His transformation and results are amazing. As you can see he really put in the work!
But also his physique on day 30 clearly looks completely different as soon as he walks in. All those shots are shot in similar lighting conditions: such as the measurements shots.
To motivate him even more, and as we always do, we make a great before and after picture with a pump and play around with lighting! The last before and after shots in the video and thumbnail are in very similar lighting, but they are with a pump.
Huge shout out to Lennard for the amazing hard work and consistent following of the 90-day challenge course!
Also, why he gained a lot more than we initially aimed at, is because he started holding water weight quite quickly and gained 2kg in the first 2 weeks. Which is obviously not just muscle. And the water weight is still there, which is normal since he's eating a lot of calories. Interesting to see how this will develop in the next few weeks...

Sorry to break it to you, but what that guy built wasn't just muscle mass. If you train your muscles a lot, there will be micro inflammation, which leads to water "influx" into your muscles. That makes them swell. As soon as you rest a couple of days, the swelling goes away because the muscle fully heals. A lot of people think (me included a few years ago) that they lost muscle mass, but in fact you don't lose muscle mass that quickly. So I wish you luck and motivation in your training, but don't think that you gain real muscle that quickly.

Great video, I really liked how you showed the whole process including the extra calories and protein he needed in his diet. It can be hard to start eating too much more too quickly so I think people should take it slow when increasing calories.

i think he mentioned something really valuable at the end - about learning to push yourself. i realised, at least with myself, that you arent as strong before because you just don't understand that you can push through the pain. You condition your body to accept the pain with exercise, which is awesome.

I know you probably get messages like this every day but I have to say thank you so much and keep doing what you are doing!! You have changed so many peoples lifes and LITERALLY saved mine. I’ve lost almost 100lbs, avoided diabetes, and I am no longer in danger of having a heart attack. I’m only 30 and was at lowest point of my life. Then one random day your video popped up on my home page and because of the way you approach your videos it felt you really believe in us, ordinary people. In the process I got diet from Next Level Diet to further improve my meal planning... You are amazing, please never stop doing what you are doing!! I think the main thing is him underfeeding himself for such a long period of time. Depriving his body from nutrients and eating in a constant calorie deficit led to him having practically no muscle and basically keeping his genetic potential back. Him eating normal and in a surplus probably contributed to the amount of muscle he gained, since he's no longer holding his body back.

That body style responds sooo fast. I share the same body style. In high school I went from being 6'1" - 132lbs, to 168lbs in 3 months. I was lifting, and eating non stop in addition to two mass gainer shakes a day. My body responded so quickly that my parents we're convinced I was taking something and were really worried about me lol I was definitely dirty bulking, but I never lost my abs. Now in my mid 20's it's a whole lot easier to see changes in my abs when I don't eat great :/

@Amaldas it’s an ecdysteroid and appears to be making the rounds as the supplement of choice for fitness influencers to peddle. Ecdysteroids purport to provide the benefits of steroids without any of the drawbacks. Naturally occurring , they’re largely plant based or insect derived (think Spinach and Larvae), and have been proven to have some success in muscle growth in animals (though some studies have shown certain other conditions, such as age, can hinder the effects). As of yet, there is no real scientific studies that prove its effect in humans; and anecdotally the results have varied from so good it’s almost like a steroid, to being completely ineffective. To its benefit there haven’t been many side effects linked to Ecdysteroids in studies (besides liver damage, maybe cancer, in mice), though again they are not as well researched as other substances and thus the absence of purported side effects does not necessarily mean there are no side effects. Ultimately people are free to do as they like, and if they have the disposable income MAYBE Turkesterone can be worth trying out; though I think even most of the influencers would agree that having a good diet, training routine, and sleep are far more valuable.

I'm built pretty much exactly like the camera guy, just shorter (so we're talking 60ish kg), although my work consists of lifting pretty heavy shit for 40 hours a week, I can get to his level only after doing push-ups for a month maybe, and only once in my life I pushed myself to keep training seriously. It lasted for about 5 months, but it was back then I realized it was possible, stuff started connecting, muscles that were previously used only to keep my limp miserable existence from falling apart now activating, and I grew, felt better, stopped smoking, built character even, all by myself, not having anyone there to motivate me or train with me it was quite a feat, considering how lethargic and lazy I am, it was the highest point I have ever reached. Then I skipped a day, and another one a few days later, found a new job (current one), stress and depression started to kick in again, and before I knew it I was back to square one. Now 2 years later, looking back, it feels like it was all a dream, how did I manage to do all of that, it's like I'm going through someone else's memories, like it wasn't me, now being weak like I was for my whole life. Yesterday I made myself do the workout I did back then. My whole body hurts like I rolled down a cliff, I can barely lift my arms... But damn did I miss the pain... "It is not wrong to be weak, but it's wrong to not want to become stronger", or something like that, don't know who said it but that's some straight up wisdom right there. Great content guys, I really needed that, never stop pushing.
