@guilherme87423352 жыл бұрын
@@Tina-stick pullups are problematic because you need some back muscles that rarely are used, and thus are generally underveloped, to start the best way would be to start from the second part (after the contraction when you start lowering to the rest position), use a chair or whatever to get up there and try to lower yourself slowly as possible (see the proper hand position and grip for the exercise), do it some times with proper rest between sets, skip one day to rest, then do again and try to put one extra rep, somewhere on the range of 5-10 of those half reps you'll probably be ready to move to the full pull-up. About how many sets to start would be up to you, 3-5 with 1-2 half reps are a good start and later on is more about increasing time under stress, whilst not overexerting and injuring yourself.

If you die tonight, do you know where you're going? Did you know that Jesus Christ is THE only way to Heaven and He loves you? Through Him, God offers you a FREE gift - forgiveness. All you need to do is repent, turn away from your sins and evil ways, from now on put your faith completely in Jesus Christ and be obedient to Him. Biblical explanation of the Gospel: God doesn’t want anybody in hell because He loves us, but you must understand why we deserve hell and why those who refuse to live under His authority will go there. (Matthew 12:30) ''Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.'' He gave us the law (Ten Commandments) not to make us righteouss, but rather to show us our sin (Romans 3:20). God gave us free will and since Adam sinned in the garden, sin is the nature of our flesh and we ALL have sinned. (Romans 3:23) The law demands death to those who sin (Romans 6:23). For someone to be justified before holy God they have to be sinless, that's why everyone need Jesus Christ for He lived a sinless life. None of us are good in God’s eyes, because for God good means moral perfection. We all have broken God’s commandments, we all have sinned in our lives so none of us are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.’’ (John 3:16) We aren’t saved based on our good deeds/works, but only by the grace of God through faith. ''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) He said ‘’it is finished’’ (John 19:30) just before He died on the cross, which means He paid the fine for our sins (past, present, future) to be forgiven if we repent and trust in Him. ''What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!'' (Romans 6:15) ''Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out'' (Acts 3:19) Repentance is a turning from sin and all evil works, and it always results in changed behavior (Luke 3:8). Biblically, a person who repents does not continue willfully in sin. While sorrow from sin is not equivalent to repentance, it is certainly an element of scriptural repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). Do not play a hypocrite. ''God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.'' (1 John 1:5-6) If you have repent and have genuine faith in Jesus Christ then you will receive the gift of Holy Spirit and be born-again spiritually. (John 3:3) Jesus replied, "Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again." When you believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession - to the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:13-14) You are born again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. (John 3:36) ''You will know them by their fruits'' (Matthew 7) If you have been truly born-again with the Holy Spirit and He has regenerated your heart, you will have new desires - to do what is good and righteous in God's eyes, to seek God everyday in His Word and prayer, to strengthen your relationship with God. You will no longer desire to willfully continue living in sin but will want to obey God out of your love for Him because of His amazing grace revealed to us through the death and resurrection of His Son. ''Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.'' (2 Corinthians 5:17) ''For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.'' (Eph 2:10) You will have a testimony - of what your life had been before and how has it changed now when you have surrendered it to Lord Jesus Christ. As a declaration and affirmation of your faith in Jesus Christ, get baptised in water because He commanded us to do so. In John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.'' ''Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit'' (Matthew 28:19) ''Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.'' (Acts 2:41) ''And this water symbolizes the baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body, but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God - through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,'' (1 Peter 3:21) ''We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.'' (Romans 6:4) ''Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.'' (Colossians 2:12) Please get right with God and start your relationship with Jesus Christ today before it’s too late, because there’s not much time left! "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.’’ (Mark 13:32) Get to know Christ through God's Word - Bible. At first I recommend reading Gospel of John and book of Romans. God bless you! Jeremiah 29:13 - ''You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.''

As simple as it sounds, just to be active in general, push-ups after waking up and randomly throughout the day, maybe 3/4 times, and a jump rope does a lot. Started off this year alone struggling to do 10 push-ups, couple months of them and while it's not much I'm at 25 max. Jump rope gets the blood flowing and works legs, good stuff. Sit ups and crunches in the morning, such and such. It's just the eating healthy and enough, and the motivation to do whatever you can with what you have that are difficult. But go get it, man! Even something small, altho not gonna turn you into a body builder, will help in gaining strength. Anything else, when you have the chance to really get serious about gaining, will just have to wait.

This is insane im so happy for you Lennard. I’m in the US Marine Corps and have the same problem with eating. I’m 5’ 9” was 175lbs 6 mo ago. After life happened and me marrying the love of my life, I’m now 143. Super frustrated about my weight and lost gym progress I decided to start again. 2 weeks in eating a fat caloric surplus but my weight is between 141 and 143 still.. Once again frustrated, I’ve been laying in bed for almost 3 hrs (4:30pm-now 7:11pm) with a growling stomach but you motivated me to get my ass up and go eat. Thank you bro ❤️

As someone who also struggles with depression and anxiety, working out does help abit. But what really helped me gain control and therefore more self-confidence in my ability to deal with my depression were the videos by Andrew Huberman, a professor of neurobiology at Stanford. I really recommend you check them out as he explains all the neurobiological processes behind issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, motivation, sleep etc. in great detail while also giving great practical tools that you can immediately implement in your daily life. You best start from the beginning of his videos as he starts off with some basic knowledge about the nervous system and then he talks about sleep. Getting the right kind of sleep was a game changer for me. Hope this helps you abit!

Lennard, I saw your 30 Day Transformation vid 3 weeks ago. I’m a skinny guy who sits in a chair for work 8-12hr a day. Last time I worked out was about 14-15 years ago… After I watched your transformation vid, I went outside and attempted to do pull-ups and push-ups. I could do barely 1 pull-up, could do 14 push-ups, and sit-ups for about 35sec. Since then, I’ve been exercising and stretching every day. Today I did 4 pull-ups, then 3, then 2, then 1; did 30 push-ups; finally, I was able to do sit-ups for 4min straight. 💪🏼 I feel better than I have in a long time and happier too. I also just bought a jump rope and will begin adding that for 10-20min every day.

Injury aside: I love how this video showcases that in any duration of the training, there will be different rates of growth one will notice. In the early stages, days 1-30, the most growth is noticed. What I loved seeing in this video was the day 90 results not being far from the day 60 results. Again, injury aside, anyone will notice a tapering of their progress the longer they indulge in the same patterns. Thanks for being realistic and entertaining simultaneously!

@MoonStone-f2w Жыл бұрын
@karlwithak. if you think you gained 25 pounds of muscle in 8 weeks you are out of your mind... it's not even mathematically possible to gain 25 pounds of anything in 8 weeks unless you were extremely underfed and dehydrated and gained 10-15 pounds in water and glycogen.. PER THE SCIENCE - in 8 weeks, with noob gains, you'd be lucky to even gain 3 or 4 pounds of muscle.. 8 weeks is NOTHING. It takes years and years to pile on muscle. If you did gain 25 pounds in 60+ days the majority of it was fat, water and glycogen. But what do I know, I am only a dietitian, personal trainer and competed in 3 natural bodybuilding shows. People like you spread this crazy misinformation that contributes to the dumbing down of our society.
@MoonStone-f2w Жыл бұрын
@@iamacooler1320 just ignore that guy.. he thinks he gained 25 pounds of presumably mostly muscle mass in 8 weeks. He is either a troll or incredibly stupid. 8 weeks is nothing. If you even notice somewhat of a change in 8 weeks then that's great. It takes a long, long time to pile up muscle. 25 pounds of muscle, per the actual science, would take around 5 years.. The worst part about being a dietitian, personal trainer and ex natural bodybuilder is that it is all so simple to understand yet 9/10 people don't undertand it and think crazy shit. Shit, tons of people will read my comment and say 25 pounds in 5 years is crazy bc of x,y,z not realizing how insanely different someone would look with 25 pounds of solid muscle.. it would make you look like a different human.

I've had trouble gaining weight and working out due to an autoimmune condition I have, and have always been unsure where to start or how to approach it. That was an impressive journey. Also, as someone with different leg lengths (1.5cm difference): you should get your shoes adjusted if the difference is "large". There are orthopaedic shoemakers who will do this. It will help you on the long term.
@EL774442 жыл бұрын
at his age it's too late, his spine has yet been adjusted to be functionnnal, if you put an orthopedic stuff you will unbalance all the spine. @@EL77444 I mean, in the end his doctor decides whether it may cause issues or not. These shoemakers won't touch your shoes without prescription anyways. I just wanted to mention it, just in case he might sweep it aside as "doesn't matter much". Though, he didn't tell a specific number either. So, it might as well be a small difference and it really wouldn't matter after all. Anyhow, I wear shoes with these adjustments since I was a kid and I still let new shoes modify to this day.
