As a climber, this is a bad idea, and I think I have gotten golfer's / climber's elbow just from watching the day 1 part of the video 😄 Your muscles can strengthen and recouperate MUCH faster than your tendons can, so you run a serious risk of blowing a tendon. I get that these challenges are extremely ambitious for the views, but anybody watching and thinking about taking this on, please pace yourself a bit more than these guys. Personally I'd recommend a) a lot more rest, and b) not just focusing on getting to 100 every day, but instead incorporate other strategies like dead-hangs, inverted rows, weighted pull ups (with less reps), or explosive pull ups (same).
@kareemcallender1930 Жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct! If a tendon behaves like a dropped soda then he can't workout so I agree 1000 with you Derek... Pacing is much better and you can't stress the hanging enough lol very interesting.

I new that I needed to diet and even workout, but I'll be honest, the hardest part of all of it is keeping up the motivation. Then while researching how to do exercises correctly, I was recommended one your videos. I believe it was the 100 push ups for 30 days challenge. It was incredible. Ever since then I have been watching your videos almost daily. Whenever I feel like I can't do a workout, I just turn one on to give me motivation and I've kept going. Challenges like this can discourage people who ACTUALLY want to get bigger. 100 pull-ups for 30 days? Huh? More of a CrossFit training that will give almost 0 results when compared to weight lifting

There's a good calisthenics channel that talks about how too much of a good thing is not a good thing.

I'd really like to see you guys do a boxing training challenge for 30 days, I think that would be interesting

Oh man, I'm on day 23 of doing this challenge myself and I feel like my biceps and lats are tearing. I really feel what this guys are going through.
