I know the story. At least I think that's the one. I'm not really sure how much of it is public information, so I can't go into detail either. In essence, a pirate got killed by a bullet that skipped on a wave. No authority wanted to deal with the rest of the pirates, so they had to let them go in the end.

Oh wow, somebody from the KSM. I wanted to go to the KSK to be a sniper, but well…the Bundeswehr has a rather bad reputation here in Germany (there is really no patriotism here contrary to the US, they are usually more, well, „hated“ in the end I‘d say) and my parents weren‘t fans of it (I mean, I kinda get why). Still, at least for me, I‘m very happy we have them and I‘m very happy that if I f-up horribly in some country, they will try to rescue me (things most people probably would absolutely not do for another person (including me)). Thank you for your service! Danke für Ihren Dienst, das wird in der Gesellschaft ja leider nicht so oft gesagt.
