When Kelly comes back and says, "Daddy, beat him up." The guy he beats up is David Boreanaz who played Angel in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel series, Seely Booth in Bones and is currently starring in Seal Team as Master Chief Jason Hayes.

Yeah, since Buffy he's never been off television. Also the tupee guy was Judo Gene LaBell, a world champ judoka who trained Bruce Lee in Grappling and also trained Ronda Rousey

Ed O'Neill, the actor for Al Bundy, actually practices martial arts in real life. In fact, he's got a black belt. I think it's in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, if memory serves. Although I don't think he picked it up until some time after the show went off the air. He was also briefly a player for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He's a GJJ/BJJ blackbelt under the Gracie family, which is about as good as it gets.

The Episode where he was in the Football uniform and the guy was in Knight’s armor was when they were in England. It’s a multi part episode that was my favorite as a kid. I’ve seen this entire series more times than I can count and it still makes me laugh no matter how many times I’ve seen an episode.

Those 2 episodes were one of my favorites. Only one that beats it for me is when his guardian angel ended up being Sam kinison

@@middleage_maniac1692 Those were great episodes. The episode where the rest of the family and Jefferson are imitating the YMCA and Al is being messed with by Death is another favorite of mine.

With out a doubt, the absolute funniest, gut busting, funny bone breaking moments on Sunday nights in the 80s!!!!! I love it when Al Bundy rocked!!!!! You knew someone was getting knocked the f==k OUT!!!! Best comedy show ever produced!!!!!!! WhOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Bundy!!!!

Don't think y'all are aware that in 1966 AL Bundy scored 4 touchdowns in a single game to win the city championship against Andrew Johnson high school. Including the final touchdown on a goal line stand against his old nemesis Bubba "Spare Tire" Dixon

That last one will always be my favorite beating Al delivers. Kelly walks over, sits down, tells Al to beat up some guy he doesn't know, and as much as he always complained about his family annoying him, he doesn't ask why, he doesn't think it over, he just says "of course, Pumpkin", gets up, and clobbers the poor SOB. Father of the year, right there.

The older guy with the flowers you guys thought was there to take Kelly on a date. While Al was eating the sandwich before knocking him out. It was actually worse then that. Besides the fact he was clearly in his 30s if not 40s. He wasn't there for a date. He lived there. That was the episode where Kelly had moved out. When Al went to her place expecting to see he roommated up with some other teenage college age girl and instead its that guy she was living with.

Actually, it was her roommate's dad. That's why Kelly was saying "You don't understand."

When the guy had flowers telling kelly she look nice.. he was the guy that was bringing flowers to hos daughter... kelly's roommarte. Gotta see the episode ro know what i mean. And yes comedy like this is still on tv from every Married Waith Children reaction. People say it wont last on tv today but it has been on tv long before MWC nd to tbis day. Only way to tell is the name of the show.

Ed O Neil was actually on the pittsburgh steelers roster when he was young on top of of me hearing that he's a black belt in some kind of martial art. Add his size with that and yeah he probably would be able to beat up the average person on the street back in the day.

These highlights are amazing if you what's happened before. Without the context is hard to understand, why he is beating all the guys. There is mostly a reason behind.

Al Bundy actually knows judo and used to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers before he was cut from the Team by Chuck Noll then going into Acting. On his show there was Plenty of NFL players that got part's in his Show's. Don't know how old you are but some HALL OF FAMERS are in one episode. Playing a football game against them.
