EB1A is not that easy. Check the approvals on USCIS. You need atleast 15-20 years of experience. Even CEOs get rejected.

@@YudiJ I think channels like yours need to be more transparent about the requirements for EB1A. Granted, a PhD, a Fields Medal, or a Nobel Prize is not required to be eligible, but not all students with a Master's degree (in CS, Engineering, Maths, Physics, etc.) are eligible either. EB1A and O1 visas are typically for those who are extraordinarily talented or qualified. Applicants would need to have publications and citations and fulfill at least 3 of the 8 criteria. The interviewee should have listed his qualifications and achievements. This way, other aspiring applicants would know if their profiles are in the same league.

Story of EB1A in three years, something looks odd. How old is this video. Did he get green card or I140. If it is a new video, claimed to have telecast rwo or three hours back, consider the following. EB 1 has three categories; EB1A for someone with outstanding ability in that particular field with strict parameters. Then you have EB1B for Phd's and so on. And finally EB1C for international manager category etc. Only EB1A is eligible for self petitioning. And as on date priority date for Indians is sometime in 2022 for EB 1 category. In such a situation, how the heading of video says GC in three years. The host should have sought some clarification on such issues.

@ I remember him saying that he got his H1B in 2019/20. If that be the case, how he got his GC in 2022. You are confusing between EB1A approval and GC. There are lots of inconsistencies. If what he says is the reality, how cum more than a million Indians are waiting in EB2 and EB3. Please do not telecast such videos. It will give false hopes to lacs of Indians.

Why do Indians think that an Eb-1A approval is like passing an Ivy League or IIT? It is just a visa but has certain higher criteria and it is not unattainable. Well not all Indians can make it but it all depends on expertise!

Sir I have a question. My daughter is physical therapist in US. Right now she's on H1B visa. Around 8 months back company applied for green card. Is there any chance of getting green card early as there's national shortage of physical therapists. Otherwise how long she has to wait to get green card. Please enlighten me on this. Thank you

Such videos are misleading. Sure getting an EB-1A approved is a big deal for the citizens of a country with more than decades of wait time. But EB-1A isn’t meant for everyone and most will not qualify. That’s a fact. And hypothetically speaking, if many people start applying and qualifying for this visa then even this will get backlogged which’s already the case. If you are exceptionally good in your field the go for it but again don’t use it as a means to reduce your wait times.
@navinadv
@navinadv Ай бұрын
If you are not qualified, won't the system reject your application? You won't even be permitted to apply, and even if you are permitted, you will be rejected, so how does it reduce wait times?
@naveenjoshi4030
@naveenjoshi4030 Ай бұрын
EB-1 wait time is less than EB-2. Many people think that they may qualify for EB-1 and apply even if they are not qualified. Of course such people get rejected!

@ so if 1000s of people whose profiles aren’t suitable for EB1A apply for EB1A it makes the wait time for those whose profiles are strong longer? Is there any penalty for those who apply even if their profiles aren’t great? If there is no deterrent then everyone who even a 0.01% shot will apply.

Well 2022 was an outlier for India as EB1 was current. I got my EB1 approved in March 2023. The priority date is stuck in Feb 2022 ever since. The prediction is that March 2023 won't reach in the next 5 years as many EB-2 people ported their applications to EB1. The USCIS has got very lenient. The truth is if your priority date is not current and you are an Indian, even if you win a nobel prize you won't be given GC anytime soon.
