Carlos Alcaraz was recently asked about playing the Saudi exhibition: “If I tell you that I went there only to have fun without thinking about the money I would be lying. Everybody works also for money. That’s life. I love tennis and I play for fun too, but that event had the biggest prize money ever. That was a motivation”.

This is my 2nd time seeing Perricard play! He was amazing…. I felt bad for Ben too. But I agree he learns from every loss. He has done well this year despite going down in his ranking. He will learn how to beat the big-boys. I hope his team considers a new coach if necessary to get him over the hump if what they’re doing is not working. I still feel he could be better with another coach. Him and his Dad are friends and close and I feel this can get in way. Are there any stats other than King Richard on successful parent coaches? Perricard is nothing like Isner and Opeika. I absolutely believe he can win a slam if he works on his weaknesses. It is too soon to say if he will break any records. Let the man play tennis without the pressure of breaking records.😊Just keep winning games and tournaments should be ALL these players should worry about. Just be Giovanni and a winner 🏆 Look at what the pressure has done to Coco and Iga. Neither one of them near breaking any records yet. Same for Sinner and Carlos. Everyone has them pegged as the next Big 2, when both HAVE a LONG way to go before getting near the 3 Goats. Good luck Dominic! 😢🎉 Poor sinner can’t catch a break. Most of these guys after they are rich are not still playing for the money. I think Sinner was never poor anyways. It was a stupid question awhich is why I rarely watch press conferences. 😠😡Some of them ask the dumbest questions. What I love about Sinner is he surrounds himself with good people and family and if what people say bother him, he gets over it real quick. You are never going to please everyone. Novak is even better at it not letting negative press and fans dictate how he leads his life. I wish women players could follow their examples but we are different. More sensitive to bad press, etc. Fans can be very cruel.

I don't think Mpetshi would be able to win a slam without a very large improvements to other components of his games, namely backhand, defensive slice, net play, and overall consistency on his second serve. He's got a formidable forehand, but he struggles against consistent yet powerful baseliner due to his weak backhand (he have tendency to take a wider extra step compared to a more efficient 1HBHers like Wawrinka and Dimitrov), leading to his backhand getting attacked consistently and having difficulties winning longer rallies.
