this dude looks like a cross between seth rogan and seth mcfarlane... so now that that's out of the way, okay, this is very similar to the story i told you about the other week with what happened in another video game community. a person that would stream games got backlash for having a friend on his stream that created "art" like that of certain video game characters, and sending it to people not of age. they said that they cut ties with them after they found out, but the dude still would show up in the livestreams. the concern was that the main age demographic of this game franchise's audience is young, and to have somebody like that around interacting with the channel's community and chat both inside and outside of the stream got people worried about safety. the worst part is some of the pictures are were of cream the rabbit and tails. i don't even want to type how old sega has made the official ages of those characters. i almost got sick. i heard the memes before of original fan made characters and people having crushes on the official characters, but i thought they were just jokes. i never knew this was a thing until the other week. and yeah a lot of what this dude is saying about the guy in your video, that's how the people who are into this stuff defend it. "oh well they're not real characters, and cream is a rabbit anyway, and talking flying rabbits don't exist, so it's okay that we're into this.", and they'll defend it like it's their patriotic freedom. and nah the police can't do anything about these pictures because of a loophole, how fictional characters aren't victims or real so no crime has been commited. i really enjoyed that channel and it's content for news and gameplays, and i had so much fun on there in the past, but i can't be around a place like that has somebody into that stuff around them. i'm a big fan of chris hansen and skeeter jean, and all the others that catch people like that. i'd like to hope that person i'm talking about didn't know that his friend was like that but he has yet to explain his side of the story. i hope he does soon though and can clear his name. you reacting to this was ironic though. both of the stories are so similar.

Hey Dayton, sorry to be responding to this so late. That’s insane because the stories really do sound similar. People are very strange, and they definitely do use fictional characters as loopholes to be weirdos! Seems like there always ends up being more to it than just “oh i like this character” and always some attachment to minors IRL!!! Very very strange stuff.

@@ThePrincessOfVariety lol nah you don't have to apologize, it's cool. there is an update though. the dude came out with a video clearing his name, saying that he didn't know his former friend was into that stuff. the content creator that made the expose piece on him was bias in his video and put a lot of misleading information in the in it, so he got met with a lot of backlash. but even though he cleared his name he still felt somewhat responsible for having somebody like that around engaging with his audience, so he made a donation of over 13,000 dollars to the center of missing and exploited children. that's everything he earned during all the streams that featured his former friend in them. i thought that was admirable. i resubscribed to him, but i'm still hesitant about writing his his chat for a while. i'm glad he cleared his name though and that he cut ties with the person.

@@daytonchris8351 if he really is innocent, it sucks that he got wrapped up in all of that all because of his friend being a weirdo. i hate that that happens to people who really have nothing to do with it!! and i can see why you're being a bit cautious about talking in the chat
