It's amazing how far Matthew's videos and I have come. Almost 4 years now since I've been a regular subscriber . I started watching his videos when I was in a terrible break up phase, chasing the wrong guy, crying day and night, getting over insecurities jealousy, what not. Today I feel empowered. Because watching this video makes me go, "hey I'm already past this. I can be giving out this kinda advice too" it works. You condition your brain with such amazing advice over and over as he speaks about being the best version of yourself , self growth etc. Matt, you have done wonders with my life. I've grown in ways I'd never imagined. I'm confident, in love with myself and open to love. Thank you so much.

I see, when he does break you with his hurtful words then you accept it, then you try to rebuild your life. So if he sees you again, he will see that he broke that bond between you but not you. Then he may realize you will never beg for him again and he will never break you heart again. All because you accepted it. He can no longer hurt you. Even if he can you, don't show it. But unless you are sure of wanting him back, don't let him back in, and not easily. Make him work for it this time. Remember what our parents taught us that when you work for it, you appreciate it more. I see that now but it took me 60 years, don't let it take you that long.

This video found me right when I was ready to hear it. I’ve been hung up on a guy I dated for 2 months for almost a year now...I couldn’t believe how it happened. I swear it was like I knew him before and everything felt so right and so easy with him. We would just stare into each other eyes, it took my breath away. We met at such a weird place in our lives and it felt like the right person at the wrong time...I’m just starting to accept we may never be together and that he taught me sooo much in the short time I knew him. I really like what you are saying,my boyfriend broke up with me a week ago and I have been hurting so much,he told me that he never loved me yet he asked me out. The best option here is to set boundaries for yourself. I give an example. I dated a guy he was testing the water by disappearing for 5-6 days, then see how I would react, then take longer. I used to fight with him all the time and he would do it over and over again. Until I started studying psychology and I realised that I had very weak boundaries. You don’t have to tell him what your boundaries are, you show him. How? You set yourself a time frame, for example, if he text me after 5 days I will answer him after 3-4 days and won’t engage with him as it was prior to his disappearance. I won’t let him jump right where he left. When he starts texting often - give him reward. Positive reinforcement. If he disappears for 1 week + never answer him again. And watch how much effort he puts to get you back. So reinforcing positive reward when he respecting you and not blowing hot and cold ( you answer him in a respectful manner, you act positive towards him, you give him your attention ) negative reinforcement ( you remove your attention when he treats you bad). If you continue giving him positive reinforcement = he going to learn that this way he can get best version of you = chase him when he treats you poorly. Say yourself when to walk away. He done this 2 = walk away. You don’t own him any explanation. Trust me me you will make yourself a favour by cutting such men out of your life.
