You need to understand the shift in his behavior. Are there any factors that could be responsible for his sudden lack of money, besides you getting a job? If there's none, it could be that he doesn't see the need to support you anymore because you now have a job, and he wants to have some of your money too. That's not a good mindset for him to have. If you feel some type of way giving him your money, then you shouldn't do it. Prioritize doing things you feel good about.

The guy I'm getting ready to break up later today. Cried on the phone for over an hr it was fake I told him everything will be okay. Id dated him for 2 years and his abusive streak was back. He was screaming at me regularly on the phone for not calling enough. If was tutoring. I realised he would have hit again. On that day i left him for good and use ny valentines money to put roses on my eldest brothers graves and am sending back the other guft i bought online. I fortunately did not need the hospital as health improved. I learned he was taking food off friends and saying the electricity had been cut in his flat. He made them pay for every tea and coffee. I wanted children but i can get another partner much better. I found a dating group we are starting the first dating in 6 month times. I'm not dating again till I've healed. I know I made the right choice. Valentines day saved me and probably my big brother watched over me. He was a dangerous. An and something much worse would have happened had i met him again. Ok I'm divorced and I have money. This guy is 9 yrs younger than me. He is abusive at times ( verbally) and ignores me. Meets me on his terms. But at times he is the sweetest guy I know. He expects me to send him food everyday, pay his electricity bills, buy him clothes, give him money when he has to go to his hometown. He says he has to take responsibility of his old mother and help his sister settle down. He sends them money often. It's almost like I am taking care of them without getting any credit. He works hard nearly 11 hours a Day. But in this world of inflation he isn't able to save much. Since I have worked for more number of years and I had a very well off spouse, I have managed to save enough to have a comfortable life.. He is wanting to marry me. I am confused.
