@@Wortheins aside from the theme I fuckin loved the new she-ra. Course I'm 21 years old and massively gay and love shows with a happy ending. Also I've never seen the original so I can't be annoyed that it isn't what I'm already familiar with.

In today's story, Samara showed us the importance of artistic expression through her skills with her Cello. It's important for us to show our individuality because the world would be awfully boring if we were all the same. Until next time!

I had no idea how much I needed this. The driving beat is one of the things that made the original so perfect, and nobody else--not even the metal covers with huge drummers--get the driving rhythm just right. People think of this as an ideal string cover because of about two string flourishes in the original. But really, the way you catch the syncopation here, and the driving bass line, is what makes this such a successful straight ahead cover.

"Hello, I'm Adam, prince of Eternia, and this is my trusty companion Cringer..." Shows were just put together so much better when show runners knew they were building a brand with staying power and not a flash-in-the-pan fad. Which is why none of the reboots, no matter how much better the animation / CGI gets, will even get a foot-note in the pantheon of influential TV.

@@johnnyonline I've looked but can't source it online. It was mentioned in an interview with Levy and Saban about the show. Those are the two guys who are credited with writing the theme. Why does it always seem like the Samara in the top left corner is always doing more work than the rest of them? She needs to tell the rest of them to pick up the slack or they're not going to be on the show anymore. You can tell the Samara in the top left corner is the Justin Timberlake of this group.

@@RoddThunderheart Top right Samara looks like she's just trying to copy top-left Samara. She keeps looking over at top left Samara, seeing what she's doing and then trying to replicate it.
