Hi Angie, I'm never on youtube except for Edu vids and perusing curriculum, but I found you like 2 weeks ago and love your stuff! And suddenly watched like 30 of your videos, oops! I'm also a homeschool mama teaching 4 right now and you are such a healthy reminder of how to mix school and real life. I love your wide, fun command of language and how real you are. Commenting on this video because it was especially comforting to see you without makeup and sweaty, reminding yourself in the moment of what not to stress about. God bless you and your beautiful brood! Love from Toronto.

AMEN Angie!!!! I used to do that ALL the time and it made my family miserable. Especially when someone was seeing our house for the first time. Over the years I have mellowed immensely but my kids are grown now and it isn’t an issue. So hard to realize that. Good for you to stop yourself and take a step back

A DELIGHTFUL vlog, Angela! I enjoyed it so much. Laughed out loud at the sight of Aslan sleeping on the couch and was happy to see the adorable Charlotte. Everything in your vlog made me feel happy and relaxed. Thank you! And I couldn't agree more, our friends won't judge us if we "fail" to make everything perfect. I've been there myself. Rushing around like a crazy person, hissing and shouting at family members who were in my way or were not quick enough to execute my orders...

I respect you so much for not plastering your kids' medical info all over the internet. What a great reminder about making yourself and everyone crazy when company comes. I’ve started using paper plates to ease the stress and that was a huge step for me (food and presentation has always been important to me). It’s hard to focus on the big picture sometimes! Having two kids now helps me prioritize, oddly enough!

Your so right Angela regarding running around to make sure everything is tip top for family, friends to stay with us. Why we do it to ourselves.🙄😯I'm certain they don't want us to be so absurdly shattered, by the time they arrive. So we don't appreciate the company only from being so tired. I just tell my husband. Please make sure the toilet is properly flushed when you go. I like to have a clean bathroom. Also making sure the room the guests stay in is clean and tidy before they come. Everything else isn't, should not be concerning. Your garden is looking magnificent. No wonder you look so slim and beautiful. It's all the work you do. You hardly sit down bless. The fresh air obviously agreed with you. So glad your sister is going to be moving nearer to you. My sister lives a few hundred miles away from me. It takes at least three hours if traffic not too bad. We see each other roughly every three to four months. I only have one sister. Since my mum died 18months ago we do our best to keep in touch. PS I have a black Labrador who is not too keen on our hot weather . He frightens the living day lights out of our post man. Although he is so docile. He honestly wouldn't hurt a fly. . God bless you all.🙏😍😍

It's just me and my spouse at my house and I still overdo it when I know people are coming over. Even our best of friends or my mom who, geninuely, would not care if my house was covered in dust and there was cat hair all over. But I still spend the entire time they are visiting making sure there's no messes made and it looks tidy. It's such a habit I'm trying to break! Just trying to make sure it's clean but not stress for hours beforehand for no reason.

Hi Angie, when it’s super hot for the chickens try making ice cubes with veggies in it and stick it in a big bowl or a watering pan or something out for the chickens and the ducks. It’ll help them cool down and they’ll get some veggies out of it :-) that’s what I did here in northern Minnesota on the very few days that it got butt-hot 🥵
