As a South African, I had a proper chuckle at the aircon situation 😂 BOLD of her to assume that the government can actually provide electricity to the whole country on a continuous basis 😂😂 for the first half of this year we didn't have electricity for at least 12 hours most days 😂 On a more serious note, South Africa is dangerous when people from other parts of rhe world compare. But to us robberies break-ins, electric fences, alarm systems security gates, burglar bars, motion beams etc etc is just every day life tbh. It's quite eye opening to see people's comments on what, for us, is the norm 🥲

@@Cherish1056 According to this clip, they both had 40k saved and she spent 5k on her tickets there. Doesn’t seem like she didn’t have any money to me. However I don’t watch the show but from this clip it’s really shady of him to use money which she thought was for their honeymoon on crypto. Everyone with sense knows that’s the most high risk investment in all of investing. It’s time for her to leave and never look back. These American and White South African relationships never work out, due to money issues because what we Americans deem small amounts of money is large amounts of money to South Africans. 400k is normal housing cost in the US but he looked at her like she was crazy when she suggested that they spend that amount on a house. Lil Sis needs to come home like yesterday.

As a South African woman, where the murder rate for woman are like 4 times higher than in the rest of the world, it's really dangerous for a woman in the country. However, many woman in my country dress the same way Holly does, and although I understand where Wayne is coming from, I don't think Holly's clothing should be an issue. As a South African, I think it's a big misconception that it's dangerous everywhere. It heavily depends on where you are. Where I am, people literally sleep on the grass in community parks during the day and they're perfectly safe. Also, only 3% of our population carry a gun on them, which when compared to America, is a major difference. Honestly, aircon is expensive, but we manage. People often see so much negative in South Africa, but I feel like we still have so much to be greatful about. We have such a friendly (and funny) population, we don't have terrorism as a major concern, we have a good education system... Small things like that make life much better here. I love standing in a queue at checkers and having someone speak to me about how irritated they are with the service 😂

As a South African - yes, South Africa is very dangerous (especially towards women. We have a lot of GBV here) but we learn to adapt and overcome. Although, why he's paying so much attention to what she wears is weird to me. Like dude, grow up. But also - if someone tells you that a place is dangerous, how stupid do you have to be to walk (in this case, run away) around a place you dont know. Especially a different country. Blows my mind.

@@elenaaleksandrova9460 I've left on makeup for the night before once or twice. When I was young enough to just wake up feeling fantastic no matter what and probably thought it looked better than it did. I really hope she starts wearing more practical & comfortable clothing and shoes. What if stepped in glass or a nail during her barefoot walk. I think she's beautiful but the dresses she wears are not always flattering because they do look like last nights club dress. You don't have to wear party dresses and heels to look pretty, elegant, and put together. She can still wear dresses too but a different style of dress. Club dresses are not comfortable and she knows it lol. If you have to worry about it showing your hoo haa when you sit then it's not the right fit or style. As a woman with long hair (at my hips right now)....I understand loving her hair and not wanting to cut it but at this point you're treating it like a swiffer mop and that's not good. (American) On the AC topic, I actually bought a house last year thats over 100 years old and it didn't have any form of air cooling besides ceiling fans. I had NO IDEA how expensive it is to put in a new unit. Ended up going with a couple window units for now. Even a tiny house with existing air ducts and vents for heat, just to get the unit which does not include all of the labor and inspections it was three times what I had envisioned it being. Truly understand on a new level how you could just not be able to afford it, even if you could afford the electricity costs.
