I’m a convert to the church as well. My wife, who is also my high school sweetheart, played such a huge role in me joining as a senior in high school. She also supported me while I was on my mission just over 1 year after joining. There are few powers on earth more influential than a righteous young woman!

My dad was given a Book of Mormon by my moms boss. He read it cover to cover then found a church and walked in and asked to be baptized. He met the bishop and the missionaries and was baptized the next Saturday. He had 6 children born under the covenant.

I binge watched all of these episodes today and the common theme I keep on seeing from the people you interviewed, is that humility is necessary for God to speak to us. Jon went from being someone who loathed the church to someone who is giving powerful (almost prophetic) blessings. God can do quite a bit in our lives, if we’re just humble enough to listen to Him. I needed this reminder.

I was born into the church and I can relate. My parents died when I was 6 and I was raised by my Aunt and Uncle in the church and they were tough and not loving. I grew up believing but that God did not give a crap about me personally. I went inactive for years till I had real friends come back from missions. I became curious and started going back. It was a Bishop who got interested in me and felt to ask me to think about serving a mission. I eventually left when I was 22. I built my own personal relationship with Heavenly Father and that changed my life. Faith in God gave me faith that I might be able to have something I choose im my life rather than being acted upon.

Right after death we go to either Paradise or a place called Spirit Prison. Prison in the sense that their progression is stopped. Those in Paradise teach and minister to those in Spirit Prison because they still have their agency to accept Gods plan if they want to. Later after the final judgment we to one of what Christ referred to as the many mansions in his Fathers house. Each kingdom are a place of glory suited to what we parts of Gods plan we are willing to align our will to. These places are called the telestial, terrestrial, and the highest, the celestial kingdom.

Everybody says the same thing and yet, they ended up joining the church, testifying it is true. I was skeptical once too and than, I joined and I am now about to marry the love of my life, who is a real biological woman around my age, three years younger than myself. She and I have known each other since childhood after my piano recital. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. The Book of Mormon is true and remember, it goes hand in hand with the Old and the New Testaments. There was an old man who was hateful towards the church for 47 years. 47 YEARS and YET HE JUST JOINED THE CHURCH TOO! When I joined the church, right away, I had friends, I was not loved until I joined the church. Now I have friends who understand me, who aggressively dictate nothing in my life, NOTHING AT ALL! THEY ALL CARE DEEPLY FOR ME! My fiancée is also my high school sweetheart. She showed up at least once to visit me and to remind me of my piano recital at school. Other times, she took the time and effort to visit me. Thank you God and Jesus.

@@ReachingTheLost You contradict the Bible by denying that the Book of Mormon is true simply because you think it doesn't connect when it does. @@ReachingTheLost The Tabernacle was built for Aaron and his sons to sacrifice animals and do the works of God. Aaron was the brother of Moses btw. This Tabernacle, where Aaron and his sons performed animal sacrifices, was also often referred to as the “tabernacle of the congregation” (see, for example, Exodus 28:43; 38:30; Leviticus 1:3). Because you ignorantly hate the Book of Mormon and are a universal hypocrite, you have contradicted specifically Exodus and Leviticus which are contained in the Bible. You are defeated and will continue to be debunked because your arguments are all invalidated. You will be further impaled by truth for your arrogance and pride. You truly are lost and you have the audacity to "reach the lost?" Your name spells superstitiously ignorant.

I missed the love bomb part. I was single. I live in Texas where you won't find this church or any members for days on a horse. But once I read ...and I also requested that the female missionaries that I met find me a kiddy version of the book of M, I was like, um baptise me yesterday already. I left the church later because of work....for like 15 years and moved a few times. I wokw up in the middle of the night with my KZbin playing some dude talking about Come Follow Me. I found my local ward and I am reunited again. I went to other churches that had Saturday and Friday night SVS and Wednesday during that 15 years, so I am no heathen. That was the best thing though for my testimony. I got to get a long deep look at SO many other churches, in addition to all the churches I had been to before age 34 when I first joined. I served and even worked at several churches so I really have good insight. But this church has got it all right. I am so thankful for that KZbin channel

If you had any idea of the fear the New Testament Jews had of saying the Law of Moses is over, you would know that Christ teachings in the Book of Mormon that the Law of Moses is over could only come from Christ Himself. Most Christians do not understand why none of the letter of the law, even the ten commandments are part of salvation. So for the words to appear in the Book of Mormon that the Law of Moses is done away is so against what most people would even have courage enough to say it could only be from Chirst. Christ's teachings require us to change from our spirit to keep them, whereas the law of Moses does not. To not murder does not deliver you from sin, but to love even your enemies does. To not commit adultery does not deliver you from sin, but to not lust after a person who is not your spouse does. 2 Corinthians 6-8 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?

32:10 I always liked to ask people why they wouldn't want to read the book of Mormon when it shares a story of a people who see the resurrected Christ and they accept him. They don't reject him and try to murder him, they accept him immediately. He teaches them and they listen. He blesses them and they accept it. No one tries to murder him, but the only story you expect me to want to read is the one where he's rejected and murdered brutally? That's pretty close minded.

One of the ways in which God is funny and tricky is that he takes you and someone you care about and pulls on heart strings at the same time. So the moment one of you have the courage to speak about what you're experiencing with the other, you both stand all amazed. However, Lucifer works in the same way as well...

These kinds of stories are very useless. Here's why; if the title read HE READ THE KORAN TO PROVE IT WRONG THAN BECAME A MUSLIM, well then, wouldn't that in itself PROVE Islam to be true?...... you can fill in that spot with any doctrine, even Christianity, the final decision of the individual doesn't necessarily reflect truth. As a very intellectually honest person,it's the unvarnished bottom line facts that build the foundation of faith. In this man's journey he did not go throu4that process. He took the I FEEL journey.... which always misleads

After the Lords spirit converted me that the Book of Mormon was true I researched that the RLDS church, not the LDS was the legal successor of the church established in 1830.

At minute 15....aughhhh, I did the same thing!!! I still do that. I look up stuff in every translation and dang if it isn't in the normal Bibles that I have. Every last one of them, yet the churches I have been to SKIP over all of that stuff, they ignore it and can't explain it when asked. I am like okay, so you are just preaching on what you want and skipping important stuff. That priesthood thing is the first thing I looked up as well.

People like religion. Makes them feel good when they perform all the rituals. So it works well for some. But most of us do better with the unconditional love, forgiveness and acceptance of God through Christ.

I have been associated with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have an Unwavering testimony that this is the true Church and Jesus is the head of it. I am anoyed that you others directed by Satan to call it the Mormon church are 100% WRONG

In addition it is not church named after the prophet Mormon or any other worldly man. Mormon was chosen by the Godhead to put together all the that later became the Book of Mormon. So why other than to disprove that latter day saint hold Jesus Christ as their Savior and the head of our church? I dare you to read the book of Mormon through and ask God the Eternal Father in the name of Jesus Cheist if is not true. Continuing as you have, you are putting your Eternal Salvation and those who watch your KZbin presentations in great jeopardy.

Your own history shows that Joseph Smith himself referred to the church as Mormons. It might have been a slang term but your prophet used it so why call it of Satan? I don't think you want to call your prophet of Satan. Another thing he said was that any true church should be called the Church of Christ. That isn't exactly what you guys are calling yourselves though, is it? Your adding to it. Now speaking of Satan, have you not noticed from reading Joseph Smith AND the Bible that he taught the very ambition of Lucifer that got him removed from heaven?

@@kencarnes5281 I know you weren't writing to me but I am in the process of reading the Book of Mormon right now. I'm almost done with Alma. I also prayed as sincerely as possible before doing so because that is what I've been asked to do by the Mormon missionaries. I shouldn't fear praying for this. If it is not true then God won't give me peace about it. So far, I have found the BoM very flat and repetitious. Its the same story over and over again. Most of the books sound as if its from the same voice. There are some exceptions but most sounds to have been written by one man. The book itself isn't that long but it is filled with so many direct or nearly direct quotes of from the Bible that I wonder how many words would be left if the Bible quotes were left out. Its an entirely NT book put in OT times. Its lacks any character of 8th century BC Israel. It appears to know nothing about the festivals God commanded for the people. The sacrificial system is completely absent. Nothing about it coheres with OT writers. It reads as if the authors didn't really know anything about the OT but knew quite a bit about the NT and so formed the story around it instead. Of course there are many weird things that stick out as well. Iron, rusting swords, etc. That is just my two sense. I'm not trying to hate on anyone and I actually love the Mormon people but everything about this book glares of fabrication.

I'm so sorry to hear about this. It's so confusing because Jesus is true! He's the only begotten Son of the Living God! The Bible tells us that when we have faith that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was raised again, and we confess Jesus as Lord with our mouths, we will be saved! Jesus said, "It is finished." There are no works, nothing we can do to have salvation - only faith in Jesus. It says this very clearly in Ephesians 8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast." It's so confusing because if you take the Book of Mormon, its theology reads like mainline protestant thinking at the time - but the additional doctrine deviates from that significantly. Ever wonder why we don't pray to know if the pearl of great price is true?? or the doctrine and covenants? Please, to whoever reads this, read the gospel of John, like a child; it explains who Jesus really is - 100% man, 100% God. We will never, ever be gods - this is a dangerous, dangerous idea. It's the same idea that satan, as an angel of light, had. Please just develop a relationship with Jesus. He is generous and, gracious, and merciful. But He is also just. And He will rule with an iron rod. Do not believe in a church - the church is just the body of Christ. If Jesus wanted the mormon church, he would've told us about it in the book of Revelation or even before!! No one talks about hell more than Jesus - more than twice the amount of anyone else in the Bible. Why? Because He created it. He knows where the sheep go and where the goats go. It's all about Jesus Christ! It's not about a church! Church isn't true - Jesus is true! Believe and be saved right now!
