I noticed something very fake about it after less than a minute. People who get stranded like that, and even if they miraculously get an internet connection, will be desperately pleading for people to get help. His phone is a tracker so it won't be that hard to find him with his phone number and service provider. He didn't ask for any help and just asked for likes. No one in a desperate situation would ever do that. First thing a desperate person in a stranded situation does is plead for help.
