As a Saudi person and trust me we keep in touch with almost everything that happens in the US! I don't know why everything in there gotta be hard and complicated and just "tiring" everything gotta be politically right and almost a woke debate or just a debate based on the emotions or playing with facts or just for the sake of arguing and raising an issue nothing more what happened to the America we knew back then I lived in the times of 80s and 90s when America knew what to debate about and didn't put fear or obstacles on every relation they have with the rest of the world it's just an exhausting/energy draining loop that they keep the normal everyday American citizens caught up in it and it never stops it's always a new issue if not with other countries it's something internal I really miss the old America and as a Saudi who comes from the city of oil and used to live around Americans and other foreign people who live in here and have their babies in here and live a life time.. I just miss the simple honest relationship we have and how we grow up studying with their kids and learning from each other not being too worried of how "different" we're! I was a Muslim like some of our Saudi friends we go to pray at pray time and they were Christians who go to the local church in here when it's Sunday. What I'm trying to say that I feel the western media lately and the whole political agenda is pushing us to be far rather than learn and meet in the middle nowadays anything "Saudi" is a shady topic and gotta be pushed toward "woke" or labral agenda even internal issues inside America not only with other countries who always been an allies and friends to it always seems to go toward making people fight or afraid of each other and just a tiring cycle of debates and conflict I really miss the America of the 80s and 90s I really do even though it had it's flaws it was a great time and more chill mostly and not too caught up in this political/media agenda

Honestly English clubs have bullied every other league with their financial means. That was never a problem to any English pundit or mentioned in the media. For instance West Ham won the conference league and everybody in England praised them. Reality is that their budget is 5 to 10 times the opponents they played. Not mentioned once... You English fans just can't handle that there is an even bigger player at the table now

What your watching happen is what us in Scottish football had to watch the Premier League do. Rangers were one of the richest clubs in the uk until money flooded your league. Wages doubled then tripled pushing Scottish football down the ladder. The top 2 clubs struggle to match wages with championship clubs now. We can't get good sponsorship ship as we share the same media companies as the Premier league. I'll not feel sorry for your league because the bigger boy has entered the playground.

People are missing SJ’s point. It’s not hypocritical, it’s that he fears for the game becoming over inflated. This will leave a handful of clubs and players, and so it’s EUROPEAN SUPER LEAGUE principles…. 🦆

The Saudi’s Qataris and Abu Dhabi’s have funded the premier league for years. Making it the richest league in the world. Now all Saudi wants to do is use their own money for their own league as oppose to splurging it everywhere else. There ain’t a problem with that. It’s hypocritical from people like Gary to want to block Saudi Arabia from splurging the cash on all these players when its exactly what the prem has been doing for the last decade 😂

Saudi won the U17 world cup in 1989 before Brazil, France or England ever did. That generation made it to the 1994 world cup and got to the 2nd round. Remember that wonder goal? The biggest surprise for me, is that it has not happened sooner.

@Aleek-fo1yq Жыл бұрын
Bullying?😂😂 you really think clubs are crying in a corner because a premier league club bought their player for millions of euros? They take advantage of it. Saudi isn’t bullying anyone but using an endless pot of government/royal money for reputation/influence and everything else that comes under sportswashing

I have to give some credit to Sam here, the moment he didn't know what a word or phrase or concept was he immediately interjected and asked for clarification. I'm not worried at all about our game. I think football will always be biggest in the UK, that's where the fans are. If big players go to the Saudi league, no one will care. Like Jordan said this is about gaining an invisible power called influence. Influence is only given if you let it be given. If no one watches the Saudi league then it gives 0 influence. Same as the Chinese league.
