Nobody cares about Rashford honestly, the guy is overrated and has been for a long time. I said years ago he is West Ham level at best and then we gave him 300+k per week. No serious club wants him, he can’t get in the England team and yet we keep on talking about him because he once scored 30 goals in a season. That was an anomaly, Rashford averages about 7 goals per season over 10 years, has never scored a goal in a cup final and constantly walks and jogs round the pitch putting in zero effort.

If Rashford wouldn’t take a pay cut to leave and he’s refusing to budge unless he’s paid full the balance of his contract, Man United should make a painful object of him like Real Madrid did with Gareth Bale: sit him on the bench for the entire rest of his contract. That means he will not get called for England at all, his value will drop drastically by then, and he’ll become too radioactive for top clubs. That would end his career. He’ll have no other option but Saudi or Turkey. That is the right thing to do if Man United want to go back to being a respected club where the manager was the boss by every metric. Player contracts are weighted too heavily in-favour of the players benefits in my honest opinion. Stupidly, there are no get-out clauses for the club, not even common sense clauses such as if you're injured for more than 12 months or fail to stay fit, the contract can be terminated. It's time club lawyers got smarter & level the playing field because at the moment, the player(s) can literally just sit there doing nothing and the club has to pay them in full regardless- that's not fair or right. Why are there no disciplinary procedures? why no 3 strikes your out? It seems at the moment, it's impossible for a bad attitude player to breach their contract.

I was lucky enough to play with some pros at under 14s up till under 17s . The players that made it were consistently good. There were a few players that didn't make it but once every 5 to 10 games they'd look like a world beater. Then the next 10 games they'd be so bad. Rashford has ability but he's massively overrated. 1 good season in 10 years.
