I was devastated/ hurt. But the signs were all there! Don’t over look the red flags. You need to leave him alone!

I was with someone who couldn’t stop being “best friends” with his ex. They had kids together then we had kids together and long story short. We’re not together, I’m hurt and their “best friends” still. I think they are in love with each other but she has a baby with someone else and he has kids with me and I regret it. So much. It sounds like they are on a break to see how it would be if they aren't in a relationship because they still care a great deal for each other. Eventually, they probably will get back together and this young lady would probably be the one hurt on the other end. If his ex was just his friend and he was in love with this lady, he would break off that friendship to make her comfortable and he's not. She did the right thing by breaking things off.

My ex girl left me for my best ex friend but that was in 2006 it was terrible I left that behind it is what it is.m. it took me 5 years to recover i used to drink everyday I was even about to die one day I woke up and said she's not worth I seen the light.... but now I feel better cause she's out of my system and it feels good now I'm with a love she's so different than all of my other 3 girls I don't know how to explain it but what ever happened to me in the past was only lessons.... Soooo true. I found out he was on the phone with his ex for over 1hr 20mins I end the relationship rt there and blocked his ass from all platforms and he didn’t even try to make it rt. He went Ghost! Thank you so much for this. My relationship ended recently because my boyfriend didn't let go of his best friend/ex girlfriend. They were friends a long time ago, dated for a couple of weeks and ended. They got back to being friends after a few years tho. I wasn't ok with it. I tried to compromise on it, but we kept having arguments because of her. In the end I said that she needs to go. Well, safe to say that I left because he did not give up on her. It was heartbreaking 😔. What's even more confusing is how heartbroken he seems, considering that he let the relationship end because of her.

I was actually the girlfriend to my ex, and honestly, both of us moved on to other relationships, but NEVER really LET EACH OTHER GO! It cost both of us relationships that were genuinely good to us and for us. Lesson: EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU ARE OVER SOMEONE STILL DO NOT DATE ANYONE FOR A WHILE. I was in a very similar situation. My now exBF was close friends with his ex. And she was single, which really bothered me. I told my boyfriend that I wouldn't have a problem with it if his ex was in a relationship or married... because then I'd know her partner wouldn't have a problem with them still being close. But that obviously wasn't the case. My boyfriend would go to her house every Friday to let her dogs out for her while she was at work. When she had a tree fall down in her yard, he went over there are removed it. She was a yoga instructor, and the one time of him doing yoga at her studio to support her 1st class, turned into him going to her class every Sunday. He was always upfront about everything and told me neither of them had feelings for each other. But it always bothered me that she ended things with him and he still wanted her as a friend. He told me they lived together for a year; and half of the relationship was more like a platonic roommate situation. He said she had back problems and they stopped even sharing a bed, and she slept on the couch. He also said she would never want to touch him in bed and would sleep with her arms crossed if they slept together. So their physical intimacy was very unfulfilling for him. At the time, he was a full-time student, so I think he just kept living with her because he didn't have any place else to live unless he moved back in with his parents. However, she was the one who said she wasn't feeling things anymore (he said he agreed), and it was an amicable breakup. He dated a girl after her for 6 months, but I have no idea how much he still hung out or talked with his ex girlfriend during that time. About 2 months into our relationship, he said he would like me to meet his old girlfriend that he was still friends with. He said he wasn't the type to stay friends with exes, but this ex was the one exception and things ended very friendly and amiable and they absolutely didn't have romantic feelings for each other. He went on to say that she had been seeing and guy after him, and it didn't work out. So it gave me some reassurance that they were friends enough to talk about other love interests with one another. During the 6 months of us dating, it was apparent that he still talked to her regularly and depended on her for advice and an emotional support system. This is something that really bothered me. He tried to reassure me that anything he did for her, was the same as how he would treat any other close friend. He also said I was always invited to come to yoga with him at her class. But if it made uncomfortable, he was still going to go because he liked yoga and he was also supporting his friend's class. So he saw it as a win/win. Any thoughts on this??

@@Urla398 No...we got back together during the beginning of the Pandemic...so his exGF wasn't even around... I honestly don't know why he ended it...again. He just said he hadn't been happy. He broke up with me literally the next morning after we had spend the night together and he called me his girlfriend again for the first time and said he was glad I came over. So who knows??? We haven't seen each other now in 7 months. I emailed him some Covid-19 vaccine information 2 weeks ago because I was concerned about his parents... And he responded right away and said he hoped I was doing well. I didn't respond. And he hasn't reached out again.

She had a baby with another guy with whom she lived.. He didn’t want kids. My fiancé’s family invited her to all family events including holidays. She was in business with his brother-in-law. His sisters ignored me but talked to her and said she was another sister. We even had to double date with her. When i told him it was all too much for me, he said he loved her and she would be in his life forever. He said I was just being weird and jealous. She told me that he was a ass and didn’t know how to treat women. It all came to a head at his brother’s destination wedding when she and her partner came. Hardy any friends were there, just family and there she was. Worse, his sister invited her to go to the spa together. They signed up for activities together. They left me out on purpose and my fiancé told me I was just being too sensitive. It was an awful time. I realized this would be my life. When we got back from the trip, he called and broke our engagement. I felt relief. Don’t let a guy gaslight you. You aren’t being sensitive or jealous. It’s a problem. Run!
