What exactly do people want from Bellingham at this point? He scores goals and gets criticized. He assists goals and gets criticized. He plays an excellent ball into space for Madueke on England’s first goal today and gets criticized. He created the 2nd goal today with a rocket shot that hit the post and rebounded off the goalie to create an own goal and still gets criticized. At this point, I’m convinced most people constantly criticizing him not only have virtually never watched him at Dortmund or Madrid. But aren’t even aware he has won back to back Bundesliga and La Liga player of the season awards at 19 and 20. To all the people constantly criticizing Bellingham, what exactly do you want from him?

Bellingham is a typical case of fans being guilty of what the media are guilty of. They've been swept along with the hype by the media and when said player drops off they get annoyed for believing the hype and end up severly devaluing the player. Like Declan Rice he is what he is and has never been anymore. Rice is a world class 6 but hes not an 8. He's never gonna morph into a baller. Bellingham is a great box crasher who is strong, determined and knows how to score goals from midfield. He's not a technical baller who controls and dictates games though. Maybe that will come who knows. As of now hes just a very good player but you have to play to his strengths.
