The song you did by Aaron Tippin recently was from 1991. And a great song you're missing out on also from the 90s is Alan Jackson's "Chatahoochie!" It is just PURE FUN. And of course, you gotta get back to Garth "Friends In Low Places", from 1990.

Decent song but if you're going to recommend Joe Diffie the conversation has to start with 3rd Rock From the Sun, prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox till I die, and John Deere Green before you recommend anything else by him. A fun song fer sure! There’s still a lot of traditional country in the 90s; George Strait (the King) & Alan Jackson are stalwarts of keeping things traditional. Brad Paisley, Diamond Rio, & Confederate Railroad also have a lot of traditional songs: Alan Jackson - “Midnight in Montgomery” George Strait - “I Cross My Heart” Brad Paisley - “He Didn’t Have To Be” Diamond Rio - “Bubba Hyde” Conf RR - “Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind” Brad started in the late 90s, hit it big in the 2000s.

90's country was the best era in my opinion, so many great artists, so many awesome songs. Country music became the genre to listen to back then. Alan Jackson, George Strait, John Michael Montgomery, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Trisha Yearwood, Lorrie Morgan, Martina McBride, Clint Black, Collin Raye, Vince Gill, Neal McCoy. These are only a few of the greats from the 90's. When I listen to country music, its almost exclusively from the 90's.

There's definitely a strain of American roots rock that flows directly from 80s rock artists like Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, and Huey Lewis right into 90s country. A lot of the growth of country music in the 90s was from 80s rock fans who didn't like 90s rock. This has actually happened many times. Several generations of rock fans have migrated to country as they've aged. And country music often has elements of the previous generation of rock music. It sort of feeds off itself. Also, another Oklahoman that I don't think you guys have done is Toby Keith. You should check him out.

Whenever I think of 90's country male artists I think of Travis Tritt singing "Trouble" which I think came out in 92 or 93. The song was in the Pauly Shore film "Son In Law" which you've seen. Another movie I recommend for your movie channel is "Honeymoon In Vegas", released in 1992, which starred Nicholas Cage, James Caan and Sarah Jessica Parker. The soundtrack has some great Elvis songs and has many 90's male country singers as well.
