Massive psychotic pos that he is Marlo is truly a fascinating villain. He pushes so many characters that are against him to complete desperation and has no limits to achieving his ambitions. One of the TV villain goats for sure! Jamie Hector is just brilliant.

Omar calling Marlo a bitch in this episode is the only sequence of dialogue where Omar curses in the entire series

That’s awesome, I never noticed that

Ehhhhh not quite tbh. He's cursed at least twice before this but it was *very* minimal (and both times I believe are only in Season 1) so it's not that big a deal. He prefers not to curse though so seeing him curse so excessively now definitely strikes a difference. It adds to Omar's desperation imo.

@@monadreher2428 In S1E3, Omar says "it's some very raggedy ass-shit" when they scope out the pit and figure out where the stash is, before robbing it later that night.

@@FrenchieQc Yeah that was one time. I'm certain he cursed again at some point though. I'm thinking when McNulty and Kima first take him to their headquarters, after Brandon's been killed.

Yeah we've never seen Omar this vulnerable before and that is entirely on purpose. The main themes of this season are essentially lies and truth and how it all ties into sensationalism over realism, Reality vs. Fiction. Our perceptions given and strengthend through the media. You're going to see this with so many characters this season, not just the ones from newsroom, it's simply amazing. Also absolutely love seeing Chris and them shaking in their boots cause Omar escaped 😂 Lucky for them Omar would never do what they did to get back at them.

Love Omar’s revenge tour, he’s not scared of anything. I love he goes full John wick going after Marlo.

@@noahzynski ha.. don't worry .. But that's just one great example of how the wire doesn't lay it all out on a plate for the viewer. The more I watch this season the more I like it. It's obviously a bit more sensationalised than the other seasons but there is some great drama

@@noahzynski and you'll catch things you missed. Will do that for about 5 or 6 rewatches.. seriously... There is one thing I noticed after 15 years and at least 10 rewatches. And I only noticed it when watching a reactor.
