Ha! Indian economy has been afloat since the dawn of Ukraine war mainly due to Russian oil. At one point, these Russian oil made India one of the major exporter of petrolium! What will Modi do if this free money stops flowing? Lemme tell you what's India's reality on the ground is. Even with claimed 7-8% growth, there's layoffs everywhere and young persons are finding it very difficult to get a job in India (and I'm watching it from Bangalore, India's silicon valley. Imagine how's it elsewhere). That indicates, India's so called growth is little more than Accounting trick. If this "free" oil stops flowing, Indian accountats will also run out of 'tricks' to show this fake growth in the balance sheet.
